Has potential, but the randomness makes it quite frustrating and makes it so impossible situations arrise quite often

I really like the parallax scrolling and look, but the randomness pattern of the obstacles makes it frustrating to actually try to do better. Has potential though.

I think the theme isn't being used to its full potential, the character saying "That was close!" after you double jump isn't the best. The gameplay is fun tho

The UI is great and I appreciate the usability features (audio controls) and the way you did the info panels for the controls,  jump stamina, and scoring. Things I would suggest for improvement are fine-tuning the double jump recharge rate and/or tweaking the collision areas on the sprites so that near misses are a little more forgiving.

I have gotten a lot of feedback about the recharge rate of the double jump. Later on, after this Game Jam is over I will be looking toward making the double jump be timed based and not passing a nebula based. As for the sprite hitbox, I tweaked it a little but agree it could be a tiny bit more forgiving. I should have used a circle instead of trying to use a tweaked rectangle as a hitbox. What I think is happening is that you can hit the edge corner of the rectangle hitbox which would feel like it should be a near miss instead of a hit.

It a fair idea for endless side scrolling runner. But a few things drags it down a bit. First the enemy spawning is random and while the double jump mechanic somewhat helps here there is still times enemies will spawn so close that you can't get over them or a new cluster you can't jump over will spawn before you have a change to recharge your doublejump.

Super kickass game, super simple and sweet, nice music and sprite work looks awesome!

The art, music and general setting of the game are great, these alone make me want to play again.

I actually found it hard to time the jumps when the orbs are moving at different speeds but that makes me appreciate the double jump even more, but besides that the gameplay didn't grab me at all maybe if it was faster reloading the boots idk.

I will have to take a look at the boots charging faster. When I first added the double jump it was recharging too fast and made it too easy. I could easily hit 30K+ every time.  Possible solution would to make the boots time-based instead of nebula-based? Thanks for the feedback!

I really love the art, great parallax effect, the character has great animations and the control feel nice. On the other hand, the gameplay is quite basic,  it reminds me the monkey level from Circus and i didn't catch where the theme of the jam is.

Still working on a few kinks before the final update. Thanks for the feedback! This is my first attempt at a game and a game jam.
