Surprising to see a 3D game in this jam, but it does give that early-3D games vibe for sure. I like the atmosphere of it, I just wish the mouse sensitivity was about 10 times higher. I found it very difficult to play because of that

FUN GAME DEV LIKE IT
love the graphics, but I wish there was more sound in the environment, some wind outside and low music inside. But great other wise.
Ok thanks for the advice I will apply it in my next games :)

I hate you so much. XD
XD
I was really hoping there wasn't going to be a jump-scare.
It seemed like an interesting idea but sadly was overall a 'meh' experience to me. The graphics do seem to fit into the early 3D era, though I wasn't really apart of it aside from the N64 era. The mouse sensitivity was a little off too, took me quite a bit of turning to turn around.
Hi, I know that this graphic is not very reminiscent of ps1 graphics and when I started this project I really underestimated how difficult it would be to create it. I still hope you enjoyed it :)
Nice PS1 feels!
The graphics downgrade works very well, realy turned the game to look like a PS1 game. The atmosphere remember classicas like Resident Evil or Silent Hill, but the controls are more similar to Half Life.
For me, it's very nostalgic and is nice to see something different from 2D games here.
Good work, it's very spooky ahhahahhaa.
I realy enjoy! S2
Thanks for your feedback, I'm very glad you liked it :)
EDIT: I booted it up a second time, and this time I have found the game! The first time I played I walked to the gate and the game just sent me back to the spawn point. I have re-evaluated my score.
Well there isn't really a game here as far as I can tell. If I missed something let me know and I will re-evaluate it.As a "tech demo" it has some positives though:-Strong atmospheric sound design
-The pixel/distance shader is quite interesting, and definitely reminds me of the PS1
The shader looks like you put a lot of work into it. Care to tell more about it? (You don't have to tell me your secrets, I'm just curious about what inspired it, how that might relate to the PS1 hardware etc.)
I wanted to apply a CRT shader to my entry, but don't know how to make one.
1) Thanks for the really appreciated feedback :)
2) My secret is only to lower the resolution of the game (In this case with unity I used a Render texture) but I did not use particular shaders, for the materials I only scaled the resolution of the image to 128x128 pixels
Hope you liked it :)
Good job about the 3d PS1 graphics, the game atmosphere makes you feel tense. The controls are okay for a first person game, I couldn't understand the objective here, I think if you add more to the story this can be a great game.
I just don't feel it participating on this jam, maybe for a FPS or Horror Jam.
Hi thanks for the compliment, I'm sorry that my bad level design didn't make you understand much I can tell you that first you have to go towards the end of the road always straight and in the central road there will be a door :)
I think you've done a really good job going down the 3D route while staying faithful to the retro theme. The low draw distance and added aliasing really do give this game that late 90s PC game kinda vibe. I really liked the atmosphere of the game too- surprisingly immersive. I have to say though that I couldn't figure out exactly what I'm supposed to do. I explored the area as far as I could, but I didn't really find anything. Did I miss something obvious? In any case, really nice work man.
