Just me.
What was the origin story?
This is a text adventure that I started many months ago.
I've been wanting to create a text adventure for over 20 years now, and I finally got around to making one that I'm happy with.
It is inspired by the Scott Adams text adventures from the early 80's, primarily the game Ghost Town.

Wow, great work! Imagine this was a _ton_ of effort to put together!
Ohhhh I like text adventures, they're really hard but when you guess the right nouns and verbs to do something it feels great (☆∀☆) lol
Good job on making this (^▽^)/\(*▽*)
Fun little game, been a while since I had to put my commands in as text. Cute puzzles, I enjoyed trying to piece together what needed to be done to progress.
Yay! This was a very fun game, I felt it was just the right amount of challenge and complexity. I would love to play more of these. I enjoyed the writing style quite a bit and there were so many options to explore. Thanks for making it; I hope you make more!
Thanks so much. Glad you liked it!
Absolutely amazing! you nailed the old school vibes! And the game is pretty neat. No noticeable bugs. Great work!
Really awesome, I had collected two stars but the game unfortanetly crashed when I tried to use the key on the chest in the pirate area
Oh, that sucks. Do you remember what command you used to open the chest?
I think it was "use key" but I'm not 100%
Been a long time since I played a text adventure, very cool!
I couldnt figure out how to aim the cannon and got stuck there unfortunately, but most of the other prompts were easy to figure out.
Oh, that's interesting. Yes, you're suppose to aim it at the red balloon that is floating over the gate. Maybe I should move the balloon somewhere that is easier to be reminded of it.
