The song is about a person that goes though a set of undergound passages and exits them right before the thunder temple - a mysterious entity, located above the clouds.
Made using bitwig and arturia minifreak.
Final thunderstruck sound was created with help of several sfx effects licenced under Mixkit license.

This track is a continuous surprise, and with this I think you nailed the spirit of the challenge. It feels like something is always about to happen, and the thunder at the end is the revelation. Great concept!

I love how I can feel like I am approaching the Thunder Temple, talking to an NPC that warns me about entering - I, of course, pay them no heed and continue in anyways to then discover a vast, expansive temple that has all kinds of twists, turns, puzzles and dangers that I didn't realize. Then (as the intense drums start) I am surrounded by the temple cultist that have tricked me into walking into their sacred shrine. They tell me of their plans and the screen fades to black...
