Title
In The Fast Lane

Description
Felt like trying to make something eurodance/eurobeat inspired, so i ended up with this.

I tried to keep to the challenge of not repeating chord progressions by modulating a lot, especially having all repetitions of sections be in different keys (got a bit lazy at the end though).

The lyrics were generated using chat gpt outputs from prompts, and then sung with a vocoder effect.

Plugins used
NI komplete synths and effects + the jd-800 and xv-5080 from roland cloud.

Definetly the most creative song in the entire jam. Such a bop!

Thanks!

this is so sick. I want a full album concept of this. Had me dancing all the time.

Developer

Thanks! This was fun to make :D

Had me vibing. This is usually not the type of music I listen to, but I must admit, you did pretty good.

Thanks so much!

Had me headbobbing for 4 minutes. I wouldn't mind some more bass though! 👀

Duly noted! Glad you liked it!

Eurodaaaaaance!

I haven't counted the number of modulations and I trust you that each modulation falls on a different key :)

I really loved the fact that you're singing. The melody is catchy and the clip is hypnotic.

As it's very good, I'll allow myself a little criticism: there's a lack of variety on the drums, you could have a blast with the breaks, allow yourself to have only the hihats at certain moments, or only the bass drum. Because if you take the song at any point, you hear the same beat.

What do you think?

I agree with you. I have a bad habit of just making one drum pattern, thinking i'll change things after everything else is done and then just forget about it after getting other parts done (this happens almost always, so might just be lazyness on my part :D ).

I think you totally nailed the sound of eurodance music. I would have loved to hear a bit of cleaner voice in the bridge around 2.20, I think it would have given more depth, but it's personal taste here. It's also a good mix, the track sounds solid, I like it!

Thanks! I might have went a bit overboard with the saturation and delay.

It like listening the whole dance scene from 2000 condensed to 4 minutes :D
It is actually so cool, only good emotions! Great work!

Developer

Thank you!

This is a banger! Feels like a dubbed anime intro and that beat slaps! I love the way this flowed and kudos for going the extra mile and adding lyrics! Great job!
