Title
Something Is Falling
Description
This song is the piano, Rocketing down to earth at breakneck speeds after falling off of the mountain.
Panicking and desperate, It plays its potentially last tune.
Utilizing irregular time signatures to capture the frantic feeling of falling to its demise before noticing that, despite everything, it still has a great view of the beautiful scenery of the mountain.
Time signatures used:
11/8 12/8 alternating
4/4
7/8

I didn't use any automation and the only Mastering effects I used were EQ to make sure the lower register and higher register didn't clash too much
The song is loud and it it loud on purpose because it is supposed to be a bit panic inducing and "bass fight" like.
Only 1 piano was used, it was just split into 4 sections so I could manage them easier

Wow! I'm a fan of the descent and then the ascent between 0'52" and 1'12". There's a touch of Daft Punk about it (harder, better, stronger).
You hook us from the first notes. Lots of inspired variations, like playing everything in octaves. It creates a great break while keeping the energy.
I really like your piece.
I loved it! I really liked the movements and structuring, and yes, the impression you described, it has a great development, beginning, middle and end, and man, it really matches the pixel image, it reminded me of old games also because of the piano sound, I suggest it now complete it once and for all with even dirtier piano effects to remember to reinforce this chiptune style once and for all, and I would try a little reverb but keep the chitptune in the main. Congratulations on the work! Incredible, it reminds me of old games and moving downwards... continuously. Show!
The main theme is very catchy. Nice melody!
really good, the only thing i can really say is that the rhythm doesn't feel very natural sometimes, i love that rising blues scale around around 0:59! :0
I really like the energy and strength it projects. It truly conveys the sense of urgency. Nice composition!
I love the vibe of this composition, it just goes so hard, and it reminds me of a lot of awesome retro BGMs. The contrasting sections are also really great, and the way the music develops in the later half is amazing! I think you could introduce the contrasting parts earlier on in the piece as well to diversify your sound, especially in the first minute and a half. As much as I love the energy, the constant full sound and rhythm did tire out my ears a bit, a little break would've been great. Overall though, this was a great piece, I liked it a lot!
Interesting track, I think it feels exactly like the scene you wrote in the description. The composition is very good. The ending is also interesting because it adds to the dynamics of the track, but I felt like it could have had more impact if you added some slight delay or reverb along with the volume automation, to feel a bit more real. But I also understand that such effects might not fit the feel of the track
It's a great story. I really like the dynamic decrescendo for verse 5.
The whole piece has a great racing feeling to it. I think of "March of the Pigs" when I hear 7/8 time. Same kind of speedy frenetic energy.
Love the concept for this song. I think the pacing could have allowed for more of a build up to the end, maybe rearranging the order of some sections or cutting one could've improved that. It definitely got my imagination going though, especially the constant chugging energy.
Cool composition, always like me an irregular meter!
It feels like Megalovania though hehe, any chance you got insperation from there?
another small thing is that some of the notes don't sound like a piano but like a synth -|
Might be because of the piano you used due.
keep on going!
I got my inspiration from the song Oh No Wasps from Bug Fables as it uses the 11/8 12/8 time signature.
