Museful Sonata
Description
I definitely underestimated this challenge, but I think that through perseverance and "killing my darlings" I was able to cut down to a song that I like a lot. It's a handful of melodies that develop as the song continues, I tried utilizing feedback from previous entries to make it sound like this is a live recording of a piano (granted with a second player or a third hand :D ).
The theme of "following the muse" was strong with this one, I really was relying on my ear and intuition while creating this, everything from the progressions and melodies, to structure (this changed WAY more times than I expected) until it felt right.
I wasn't very inspired by the art this time so my wife (LilyFox [we are Fox and Lion Games]) made this piece and we used the time lapse synced to the music for the video - I am so happy with the way it turned out :)
I'd also like to say thank you to Nitro for doing this jam series, I feel like my music has vastly improved since I've started them and thanks for the wonderful feedback from everyone - it has helped me increase my song quality so much. Thank you all!

Nice piece, almost a bit poetic sounding. Liked reading your description and the drawing (and time lapse) goes really well together!
I enjoyed this, the ideas flowed in and out smoothly and some moments were really touching.
This piece felt very sincere and heartfelt, with the overall balance, structure, and flow being really nice and comfortable. I enjoyed listening to this a lot, thanks for sharing!
The whole project appears to be very felt, like you really enjoyed doing it, which is amazing. The composition is nice, so well done there! I think the track could have felt a bit more "real" with a bit more work on the midi notes (especially their velocity) and effects. The time-lapse is a beautiful idea, and it's great that you're doing this with your wife :)
I think the only thing I'll change is the velocity of some of the keys (To make it sound more natural, like how a piano player would play it) and make the fade out in the end a bit longer (Just because I like longer fade outs).
Other than that it sounds tight man, good job!
I really like this song. I especially like the part with lots of notes because the song builds up to it so well. The time lapse is also really cool and kept me engaged for the whole song!
