I liked how he approached the piano, it's very cinematic, Essepiano is really good for environments. I believe it would be better at times to have more movements to have a melodic lead that varies and arrives somewhere, it also reminded me a lot of soft jazz the music is calm, I don't know exactly if you interpreted the image that way, for me this image represents something with discovery and sonic tension mixing with some drama. Listening to your music it seems to fit the brightest parts with half of the image but the jazzy sound would perhaps be more interesting to break at some point and come back with it at some point. I really liked the music in general, beautiful work, and the mix I listen to well. congratulations!

It's a very gentle and beautiful tune. Everything about the mixing, sound artifacts has already been said. I like the improvisation - it makes for a great atmospheric piece.

Very soft and plush composition indeed, quite a nice improvisation you have. Beautifu, good job on this one.

Maybe sometimes the sound is too much, have a bit of feeling like microphone on live recording is not handling the sound, but nothing critical

I liked the ambience and noise! This was a nice song to listen to when kinda tired at night...

Nice piece it sounds very soft, calm, and atmospheric.

I think the choice of the piano VST helps with the atmospheric aspect. The sometimes audible mechanics give another layer. Also think the compression(?) that creates a buzzing sound is nice but at some times it's a bit too much for my taste. A personal pet peeve for me, which is true for many other submissions this time is the use of reverb. I feel like adding reverb (and often in addition to delay) can make anything sound good. Many times relying on the reverb is an easy way to make, especially, atmospheric pieces, sound great but when removing the reverb the composition itself can be lacking. As such using too much reverb takes away room to be creative.

With that said I did enjoy your piece and I think it works great for what it is. Even though it is improvised it still flows nicely and nothing feels particularly out of place. There might be some places where it could be a bit clearer or maybe a bit more moment in general. But, for the style (that I assume) you were going for it works great. There are other submissions that to me are in a similar category as your piece and among them, I think you managed to stand out and create a nice piece.

I enjoyed listening to it!

Wow, this composition is so atmospheric and beautiful. As a composer who mainly writes melody-driven music, it's amazing to me how much expressiveness you get out of this kind of ambient style. I agree that the mix could be cleaned up a bit, but overall it's great, I really enjoyed listening to it!

because of the heavy reverb, there's a constant humming that only gets worse as more notes are played.

it also sounds like there are other ambient effects that aren't piano but I cant really tell. They sound like wood clicking  or rubbing together so I don't know if that's just part of the plugin used or not.

the clicking wood and other stuff are from the piano samples, the humming also might be from quite heavy compression used on the piano
