Simple, but fun card mechanics. I love the characters and voice acting - gives them a lot of personality. Very funnny that DSD is not showing up haha.

Developer

Fyi, the printable version is live! I also took the opportunity to adjust some effects for clarity

Super fun voice acting in this one!

There's a lot to be said about creating a card game that at first seems overwhelming and complicated but can become fully understandable and engaging within 30 minutes time. It really started to move once I got the hang of it and I loved the boss mechanics. The art and voice acting were also above and beyond. Loved the new characters! Really well done!

It took me some time to understand the game, but it's really cool and surprisingly deep. The art, writing, and voice acting are all great. It's neat that you're making a tabletop version too!

One of my favorite DSD implementations and I love the faithfulness to the Cotton Heart lore! Huge fan of these card games, I look forward To them every year!

Had fun with this. I like the core concept, the use of the different mascot bosses to add variation is nice, and the presentation is great. Also loved the inclusion of George. That was a cool way of satisfying the DSD parameter and following up Cotton Heart Caught on Fire in one go.

Very cool idea for a co-op game! Lots of different things to try and combo off of your teammates, I like there are commands for the AI so you can get them to focus on certain things if you want to. Voice acting is great and gave a lot of personality, really like the depiction of The Pitmaster and Glerry.

I started my game off with Glerry, ended up getting Jambon as a new boss, that was a really fun twist! Always impressed how well thought out your games are, if you do a physical version of this one I'll wanna buy one to play with rl friends!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, The Pitmaster and Glerry are my favorites as well!

I'm not sure if I can sell a physical version, but I try to make the printable versions as easy to put together as possible. Once I finish that up and release it, and you decide to print it out, let me know if you have any questions on how to put it together and I'll be happy to help!

This is really neat!  The concept is pretty simple, but executed really well.  It would make a great analogue game!

i love that you all make physical board games every year.  they are always so impressive.  and the way this one's digital client works is really impressive

Once again you made a very interesting and fun tabletop game! The creativity is on heavy display with the way you weave the jam themes into the game rules.

This is so cool! Really nice art and lots of voice acting to keep the game lively!

If you want to play with friends online, I just uploaded a .pcio mod. I also recorded a quick tutorial video on the game page for how to set that up and how to play that version of the game!

Whew, and now to finish up the printable version. Should be a few more days for that.

So cool that you yet again not only made a fun game full of charm but also thought about making something that works as a physical game.

We pushed out a small patch to the game. Certain boss and event effects should now be working as intended, and there have been little updates to the UI to make things easier to understand.

Edit:
After watching wujak's stream, we fixed up a few more effects working incorrectly and adjusted the AI a little bit

Nice! I played two full rounds and ended with Silver (Challenge mode) and Gold (BJ Only). Adding voices for special effect cards gave each character something special, The VAs did a great job. Also, displaying total requirements helped out a lot for planning in the prep phase.

Developer

Yeah the voice acting was really fun to put together (although writing all the lines took me longer than I expected)! Ickity in particular sent in a lot of really fun outtakes: there were so many good "om nom" takes for his Bubby. I wish I were able to get some music in as well, but overall I'm very pleased with how it went

Developer

There may be a few things that aren't working correctly but as far as I can tell there is nothing game-breaking. Definitely let us know if something doesn't work though!

I'm going to put together a .pcio version (for playing with friends online) and a printable version out within a week, for those who want to try playing that way
