If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
Music designed to be separated into parts per wire, as well as added sound effects.

This was pretty neat, I like the changing music and taking damage with the pipe drop sound effect was funny.
The gameplay was pretty simple for me at least, I decided to get myself killed aroun 650,000 points because I felt like I had seen most of what the game has to offer. Maybe I'm wrong and there's a lot more but this is the last hour of the voting period lol.
Out of curiosity can the little flaoting objects be collected or run into? Or are those just background detail due to being in a space ship?
This was a decent chill game with some fun audio play, good work!
Yeah we definitely wanna add more difficulty as time goes on, and although the floating debris aren't collectable that's a cool idea! Thank you for playing :)
This one is a weird one for me. It's so close to being amazing, with just a few minor things holding it back, but I'm not sure if it's so bad it's good at all.
A music-driven infinite lane runner is a safe bet, and the core mechanics work pretty well. It's not really the kind of game I go chasing down, but I enjoyed my time with it. I do have trouble with eyestrain in certain kinds of games, and unfortunately this is one of them and I couldn't play for very long. The excessive postprocessing definitely made it worse. I found the view angle unnatural and I wish it was a bit flatter and lower down, but I'm not sure if that contributed to eyestrain or not.
For some reason, the music would sometimes cut out and the score stop counting up. I think this is a gameplay mechanic, but I'm not sure exactly how it works. I think it needs to be just a smidgen more clearly telegraphed.
The idea is you swap between each wire to activate different tracks of the music, with the number of active tracks increasing the score multiplier. There is a bug though that stops the wire from being reactivated if it has not yet run out though :(
Heya! Thanks for playing! There are definitely some bugs with the mechanics hopefully we can iron those out. As for your experience with eyestrain and camera angle both are appreciated hopefully we can adjust those later! Your critique and praise mean a lot thank you!
This game looks really good! Really love the general aesthetic and I think the gameplay loop is pretty addictive!
I think the game could get more difficult/faster over time. I ended up getting to 2,000,000 points and then just deliberately dying, but I think it's good if an infinite runner ramps up the difficulty over time so your losing to skill rather than boredom.
Other than that I really like the way this game feels, and had fun trying it! Thanks for taking part in the jam!
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you had fun with it! The difficulty increase is definitely something we had planned lol sadly time constraints. But hopefully we can add it later! Thanks again for the critique and hosting the jam!
cute little space guy
We love our little astro fella
Very fun game!
I like the vibe of the game!
thank you! :D
Nothing could have prepared me for that noise. I think I entered fight or flight
Glad it had the intended effect :)
