Nice Speed Running Platformer Game! I have one question: is the movement supposed to be slippery? Because I think it made the game much more interesting. Great Job! :D

Developer(+1)

Yes it was supposed to be slippery to make it more interesting thanks

It's a pretty decent start for a platformer speed running game. Controls are definitely too slippery though. Also I would use a box collider for the collision instead of copying the sprite collision because the player can get slightly stuck off the side of a platform and then it can lead to situations where you need to jump up then you die. Music was alright and kinda reminded me of a GBA game. Nice job!

Developer

thanks also the grip on the side of the platform was a feature

Good start to a platformer, but while there's a time and place for slippery controls, fire escape may not be one of them. Pass-down platforms were well done, but you might consider making the player a child object when they collide with moving platforms so that they move together, then unparenting when the player jumps/disconnects.

Good work nevertheless, and good luck! :D

Developer

ok this only my 2 platformer

It's a good platform game, but the character slide so much, is lacking of a little grip.

May you rate my game too?

Developer

sure and thanks

Nice. A little slippery, but I think that adds that little bit of fun factor. Not sure how to go back to the main menu other than refreshing the window, and the fact that you have to complete the game to get your score registered is really confusing. But fun concept, and cool features in the platforming section. Not a lot of dodging, in my opinion though. Good music, decent art, not bad (yes good 😉).

Thanks i was going to make a pause menu but I didn't have time I spent a long to trying to add the best time system

Submitted(+1)

No problemo, it was enjoyable. I didn't read the instructions or anything, so was a little bit confused about the scoring system. Else, good game.

Developer

thanks

Awesome platformer game! The momentum was a bit tricky to get the hang of but the levels were a great mix of challenging and satisfying, great job!

Developer

thanks

Great level design, unfortunately pressing the arrows also moved the browser window, it was a bit uncomfortable.

Developer

go in fullscreen mode then

seems fun, but I struggled to make it past the second set of fire. The platforms all feel like ice. I wish dying at the start would reset your time since I made no progress anyways lol

Developer

Ok thanks

Hahah I thought the same thing, was wondering why the score wouldn't reset, and thought it was not correctly implemented.

Developer

I just didn't think about that

The color of the text on the menu is very hard to read. The platforms feel very slippery and I found myself clinging to the sides of them for dear life. I like the idea of a simple speed running game and wanting to beat just one more level kept me going for a bit. on the 3rd level if I died while moving left I often died again before I could react because of the spawn location.

Developer

ok thanks I thought the text was easy to read and this is my 2 platformer
