As for me, this game was intese because i use both of sides of my brain to move both of ships ot the same time. Music very medetative. Gameplay as for me unique, at least i hasn't saw something like this : )

Actually I even get in top-10 leaderboard : )

Overall game not bad, quite simple and challenging at the same time)

P.S. Please,  try to play my game, rate and leave comment, actually i really need yours opinion, every ones :)

It's very important for me, thanks!

Have a nice day)

I love the sound and art in this game. It's really cool that the ships are connected to the instruments playing.

Hit start and was not expecting the type of game play that you made. I loved the gameplay and could play it for hours !!

Really love your art style and the ambient music! I like how you challenge players by adding that "bonus multiplier" :)

I had high hopes when I saw the thumbnail and I wasn't disappointed! Loved the art style and straight forward mechanics.

This is amazing! I really like the harmony of sounds and nice used colors. Good job!

Really nice and pretty game. So calmy.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Calmy is what we were going for :) especially with zen mode.

Really fun game. Pretty, too!

I played for a really long time, but then the leaderboard didn't show up after :/

Oh and the setting makes absolute zero sense. I like it though.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The leaderboard only shows up after you enter your name. Unless you are in zen mode, then it never shows up, lol.

What an amazing game!

What I liked

The game concept is art and I love the zen mode. I love that it is also a two player coop game :) even if that might not be intended. The harmonics play out the shanty very well and without the pressure of the time limit it is really an relaxing and fun experience. Given that it is so minimalistic, a lot of effort seems to have been put into making the overall cardboard look very smooth and nice. Indeed one of the best entries so far!

Other thoughts:

The "survival" part on top of the game feels more contradictory than helpful here. The game itself is great but it suffers from the theme a bit. The mechanic induces stress while the sound is soothing. That made me switch to Zen mode very quickly because it just felt a bit odd.

Overall:

Very polished entry with a great concept and great execution. Definitely in my favorite list now.

Keep it up and thanks for submitting such a good game!

Thank you for playing, and for such thoughtful feedback! You are correct that there is a bit of a disconnect between the aesthetic space and the frantic gameplay - thats why we felt it important to add zen mode, which I personally spend a lot of time in just grooooovin.

cheers!

Really good job on the sound design, I'm not even sure how I'd implement procedural music like that, great job! Really relaxing and pretty fun to play, but I can't find any relation to the theme whatsoever.

Developer

We were, admittedly, not overly inspired by the theme on this one, but I am glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks so much for playing.

The game is really fun, I think I would've enjoyed it more were I not colourblind, but very fun nonetheless!

Developer

Thank you for playing - I believe a colorblind mode would be an excellent feature to add. Do you have any recommendations on making the game more accessible for folks with colorblindness?

I enjoyed the game! Good job!

A good game developing both hemispheres. The only thing - I would add a pre-screen with a description. And on itch I started reading it only after the game - because I did not find a connection with the theme

Developer

Indeed the theme did not grab us in a major way this time around. The theme seemed to lend itself to more of an endless gameplay style, and we just didn't like that limitation.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

This game looks very good, and I especially enjoy the sound going into this! Good work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We have a very talented musician on our team who created the soundscape for this game - I will pass on your praise!

Loved the whole aesthetic, especially the music implementation. It immediately hooks you and creates a really nice zen, flow state. Super cool stuff!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, we absolutely were going for flow. Glad you enjoyed it 😊
