It's a genuinely great game! I honestly loved playing, and the characters are MWAH!

Really Enjoyed This Horror Short To bad Im to  late for the rating of this jam.

spoky!

Oh noes! The rating for the jam is over and haven't rated this in time, my apologies! But here is what I have to say...

This is a really well-built game! Lots of interactions, decision-making and a streamlined progression. I can see the amount of work that's been put here. I think you nailed the experience you wanted to give.
Great job! Only stuff I can ask for is the top text/subs to have a little bit more space from the edge of the screen and also for the sprint to work while strafing. Also found a trigger that doesn't go away once completed at the HR, maybe check on that as well.

P.S.
In my run I ate some doge food and found a lost turnip haha.

Very scary! Really liked the ending!

This was really really good! It gets more scary as it goes on, I love that it is set in an office, an enviroment that is perfectly normal (but the scariest of places, really), and then it makes you question everything. I think the art style, the enviroment and the faces of the workers, along with the music and sounds make the game a pretty spooky experience! Really amazing job!

This was such a cool experience. The whole build up to the ending was very well put together. The funny bits of dialog helped create an interesting environment before things took a turn. Very excited to see more from this idea

Well here you are just knocking things out off the park. My hat off to you for the spooky. You mixed two things I absolutely love, which are horror and humor about the pain and torture of office life. The art style was great and the audio design was everything I would want it to be. If this game was a spreadsheet, I could look at it all day.

Haha, thanks for playing!

Turns out it's remarkably simple to have an office feel really unsetting, the weird clinical bleached white modernity isn't a particularly friendly feeling!

Still, I'm  glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for the kind words!

Really enjoyed this. Nice art and aesthetic, dialogues were well written.

Loved the contrast in atmosphere, from a brightly lit, sanitized and somewhat goofy office environment, to something increasingly unsettling. I did encounter a little bug, after I was told to go to HR I went into a room on the bottom (with the "where is everyone" dialogue), and I couldn't leave the room anymore. I restarted and finished the demo however because I was quite intrigued by the game. Really nice for a 10 day jam game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! (and for catching that bug lol)

Nonetheless! It means a lot that you found it interesting enough to restart and finish despite running into that!

Awesome entry! Love the aesthetic, was genuinely spooked at times.

Hey! Thanks for playing!

The visuals were a big focus for this project. I was really going for that weird blurry liminal feeling and was pretty pleased with where it ended up, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

That was really good! Nice atmosphere and a bunch of humor and easter eggs. I liked it

Good stuff: Office environment with random workers, flyers and stuff. Something was happening, there was a progression of events, interesting story

Bad stuff: Seemed kinda slow? Don't know if it's just the VHS style/post process or performance matter

Developer

Thank you for playing!

The game is capped at 30fps to push for that good good Low Res feel, but there definitely are some additional performance issues that I didn't quite have time to smooth out during the jam. I'll be sure to take a look after the voting period!

Damn this is well made, very polished, and mysterious. My favorite part was the community board with the "My dog" poster, that gave me a chuckle

Hey, thanks for playing!

I think games like this one need a little bit of humor, otherwise they end up feeling a little too heavy. I'm glad you liked it!

Ok, this is the best game I've played so far, I love the creepy atmosphere that gradually built up. The dialogues are funny at the beginning and then they become more and more creepy. I really liked the details throughout. On the screens, on the paintings, and the last scene with the blood trail. Very well done and well thought out. Great job!!!

Woah, thank you so much!

I really wanted to stay focued on the atmosphere since, let's be real, this is a bit of a walking sim lol. I'm really glad you found it effective, and hey! Thanks for playing!
