Congratulations on your win in Sound Design!
Superb!
The VFX are great, the sound design is probably the best I've seen so far in the entries. The story kept me invested and I felt watched all the time. To avoid spoiling the game for other people, let's just say that I flinched once in the mazes :D
Impressive entry!
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)
Excellent, story was amazing, look was amazing, had zero issues overall.
Thank you!
You did an excellent game and deserve the highest rating
Congratulations !
Thank you so much!!
I think this might be the highlight of the Jam for me, if I'm being honest. Absurdly good effect work, and the sorta-rug pull at the end was just... excellent. Such a dreadful experience but in the sickest, most amazing way possible. Fantastic work, I can't wait to see more from you, oh my god lol
Thank you so much!! Such a big compliment for me. I was really unsure the impact it would have after working on it for the week straight but I'm so glad that it resonated with you. I appreciate it a lot <3
very nice game! but the map of the third maze is not good to see. and it would be good if sprinting is enabled. how you made the screen-wobble-effects? very nice. the atmosfear is superb!
The sleep effect is a drunk post process shader, if you look on youtube you can find the shader I used :)
is it only for unreal engine? i use unity
Seriously an amazing game!
I really loved the story and the gameplay was super fun on top of the monstrous noises mixed in with the music. the sounds and music really had me on edge the whole time and really took it over the top for me! I really loved the shadow girl that walked when I was in the maze too.
One comment I do have is I think that the time between when you start the game and the instructor starts talking is too long. I thought that I had to do something and almost had enough time to minimize the game and open the gamepage to look at controls before he started talking. Also the time between when you take the serum and the effects start to play is a tad bit too long i feel.
ill try to refrain from spoiling so ill be vague but I loved what happened when you finished the third maze it really caught me off guard!
overall I really loved this game amazing work :D
The pacing was hard to get right and it's definitely something I wish I could change, but I'm glad you enjoyed nonetheless!
Don't worry it was honestly just a minor thing it really didnt change much about the overall enjoy ability of the game!
Was hooked on this throughout! Great horror experience
Thank you :)
This was very impressive!
Cool post processing shaders, although it was quite hard to read instructions sometimes :D I'd like to get into writing my own screen space shaders soon... Very cool effects!
I think that I got a little restless waiting for things to happen in the cell and elevator. In the maze, the time went by fast because weird shit happened :)
I liked that the text and static noise was used in combination to deliver the radio messages.
Really cool entry, congratulations on this achievement!
Thank you for the response! The post processing effect for the static was actually completely accidental while working with the shader for the sleep effect. The pacing was also tough to manage, but I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it in practice :)
Very polished for such a short time of development. Had a lot of things going for it, and had me on edge while playing. Quite the immersive experience as well. Great job!
Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed this one. Cool idea, quite immersive!
Many thanks :)
Great and creepy game. Very good sound design, and immersive storytelling.
Thank you!
Impressive, I liked it very much.
Much appreciated :)
