Love the doom like shooting style, creepy atmosphere was well made, Add some fast paced movement and sounds and this game is a banger, overall pretty fun.

Really nice game! I loved the PS1-ish aesthetics and the sounds design, in my opinion, was spot on.

This was pretty solid. I think a little more work on the animations and this could be a fun little arcade shooter. I did have one issue though where the character would randomly just start looking at the floor.

You made this with GoDot that’s amazing, very talented. I really like the concept, it’s like a Doom original, creepy atmosphere and a rush at the end. Awesome work!

This game was Awesome! The atmosphere was really good and the visuals and light effects were great! Each gun felt unique and cool! I also really liked the idea of the monsters getting back up after they died.

Spoookyyyyyy!

Observations:

1. Very atmospheric. The droning bitcrush soundscape really gets the point across that this is a horrible place to be in. Good work.

2. Needs more zombie hit anims as well as player and zombie walking anims.

3. No walking sfx, also the zombies sound a little dumb. They could sound better with some of that bitcrush I mentioned.

4. Player is a little slow.

5. I think the zombies could be a lot creepier if they were on all fours and ran really fuckin' fast.

6. How do you get to the shotgun?

7. The pickups would fit more if they were actual items on the ground as opposed to doom-powerup themed.

yeah, if I had more time animations were the next thing on the list. gotta sit down and actually figure out rigging/animation, that's the plan for this week along with checking out other submissions. to get the shotgun just take a right after exiting the playground area instead of going straight to the car. there's a shotgun in the second level as well behind the gas station counter

You really did a good job on giving the game mood, wow!

- The game is lacking a bit on the gameplay side of things. I'd really liked to have interacted with the monsters more, same with the weapons and the car. As things are right now they're super duper simple, and I'd say it has too much "stuff" (running, health pickups). Focusing down on one mechanic (like the shooting) would allow that system to be deeper and a bit more complex (because time constraint) and would make it more interesting to play the game. More braincells in action.

+ The rendering and the visual aesthetic is really really good, I did get a lil jumpy when sneaking past the monsters.

+ Great level design and super clear goal, I never felt lost and always understood what I was supposed to do.

thanks man! I'm planning on building it out (and optimizing dear god) into a full game
