Good job here! I live the environment and the story, though it looks like I got a little hangry when I found the room. Were you supposed to be really tall or is that an illusion?

Loved the graphics and creepy tone of everything, you played with certain aspects of horror in amazing ways and it paid off. I don't know if I did everything right but I got to the bedroom, and when I turned around I slightly shit my pants.

Take that as you want but I think you got the desired effect, great stuff <3

Superb little game. Definitely looking forward to it getting updated and cleaned up. Others have mentioned the malfunctioning buttons in places, already. You've managed to design a nice-feeling castle that feels lived-in without feeling cluttered. The art was very well chosen, and it even contains a few decent scares! I only sought out a single ending, but I'm seeing from the comments that there are multiple endings as well! This is very impressive for such a short time-span. I'll be excited to see where this goes in future updates, post-jam!

thank you!! I'm glad the scares worked out for you, it was my first experience with Sequences and I had to keep it short for the jam. I LOVE building cool castles with supernatural/esoteric histories. I wanted to make the castle bigger with lots of rooms with you avoiding 'Dracula' and even going outside onto the roof and ledges. I definitely want to do more with this and make it more 'survival' with more items to pick up.

I love the style and vibes of this, it's very easy to get invested in the story. I loved trying for the different endings. Great job!

I loved the castle! It was well designed and looked very nice. The game itself was well put together and felt polished. Good job!

Wow! I was not expecting a Dracula game. Nice to play as Mina for a change!

The castle is very cool.

Developer(+1)

thank you!! I wanted to do more castle but the scope just wouldn't allow it, I think I'll make a followup that has you do more in/around the castle like walking on outside ledges and rooftops while trying to avoid detection from Dracula

Great aesthetic, and I loved the multiple endings and use of classical art. I'm not sure if this was intended (perhaps as a clue?), but viewpoint felt very tall, taller than the door frames.

Developer

thank you! that may have been a happy accident, there was a last minute bug that made the camera way too short and I may have overcompensated but I like it so now it's intentional

This was very good, I have watched Nosferatu. I think its the same as Dracula or based on it. One small thing was the Exit button doesn't work.

Developer(+1)

thanks! Yeah this is based on Dracula. and yeah the menus have some buttons that don't work, they'll be fixed after voting, I never got around to fixing those in the debug period

As a Dracula fan, this was pretty cool to play. Loved the references to the book.

Thanks! I fell in love with Dracula but found that there weren't nearly enough scenes in the Castle, and that inspired me to make this. I love building castles and ideally this has you exploring the castle top to bottom and outside on the roof, but that was way too big of a scope.
