The dialogue is well-written. The pacing is well executed. The mystery is compelling; even though I literally know a lot of the names brought up.
The art is visually appealing. The fog getting ever thicker is very eerie. The back and forth between characters, as I find out new clues, is engaging. The body inspection is done well; shows just enough and no more, to be creepy.
The music and generally the audio was done well.
Mind-blowing experience! This game nails it in every aspect - the pixel art is stunning, the voice acting is top-notch, and the storytelling is pure perfection. A true masterpiece! This level of game should be paid content once the Jam is over.
Fantastic! Incredibly polished game!
Brilliant! Simply brilliant!
I love how the game unfolds the story through its unique pixel art style. Great voice acting, too! Well done!
Wow! can’t wait to dive deep into this game and play it fully. Such a polished experience -the art, story, and voice acting are all top notch. Amazing work!
Great game! The sound design, the story and voice acting were fantastic.! Great job will be following for the next game!
The plot of this game was extremely fantastic, and I thought it was great. Fantastic work.
Incredible work and flawless composition between all areas. I loved everything and I think you did a great job for so few days!
The ending definitely left me wanting more content in the future, congratulations!
Wow this is awesome!
Absolutely stunning. Impeccable writing and acting that elevates an expertly directed game. Nearly fell out of my chair when the first song started. Mind blowing that this was made for a jam!
Unbelievably high quality in all aspects as always! Great work😁
Beautiful game, I love the gaphic style, Top Notch
WOW. This is the most professionally made work this Jam that I've played so far. Great art, realistic and well voice acted (song was awesome too) and very satisfying to solve and the right mix of horror and detective work. I got lost in the alley for longer than I should have but other than that, great experience all round! All the dialog chains and prompts felt very natural and you covered all the bases for opening up new dialog options based on the new information that came your way. Amazing!
And for what it's worth this is my playthrough if you wanted to see some play footage of your game in the hands of a stranger!
Thank you for playing! Maze was not clear to all, but if you look well around you have the key to solve it
Thanks for playing, sharing, and your kind words! The maze was originally planned to be an audio puzzle, which it still is, but there are some some relevant visual cues as well in case people didnt pick up on the audio.
Thanks for playing and the walkthrough, i'm glad you liked the game!
And also I think getting lost in the maze a bit help diving into the atmosphere of London in 1888. It was so dark and foggy that was so easy to get lost or not be able to see a corpse a couple of meters away from you! ;)
I love the story and the unique pixel art style in this game. Good Job!
Amazing achievement to get this point and click adventure done in a week! Great sound design, haunting atmosphere, fully voiced with great voice acting, well done!
This was made in a week? Absoloutely phenomenal stuff. The visuals, the voice acting, the dialogue mechanics and just game in general, incredibly impressive. Either this game was made by 20 people or everyone involved just really knows what they are doing.
Hats off to you good sirs and ladies
duck this one is sooo much better than last years, and i already loved last years point and click you did. amazing work on this, all of the va was good but the person that played sheila really nailed it. i would be very surprised if this one didn't win or at the very least got top 3!
Oh wow. A point-and-click horror adventure game about Jack the Ripper? That's creative! I got lost in the maze-like alley section a lot until I realized that I had to look at the ground to get a hint at where I was supposed to go. But other than that, I loved the story and the voice acting in the game!
Thanks. There is also a Sound clues of where to go in the maze. Let's say you need to follow in the "footsteps" of the butcher.
As a point and click and VN lover, I am so happy to find a game like this here uwu. Very well done, from the setting to the writing, and it's voice acted too. You folks are G R E A T!
