Beautiful game! A true piece of art! I love the concept and the UI design is really impressive! I'm still new to renpy and your game is truly inspiring!
Thank you so much! I tried a bunch of new things with ren'py this time so I'm glad they worked haha. It's fun to see what you can do with the engine so it's an honour to hear it inspired you!
such an amazing project, well done! I felt everything tied together really nicely and your illustrations are absolute bangers as always~
Thank you!! I really appreciate it, the art direction for your entry was amazing too!
The camera scenes were an fantastic idea to immerse the player in the world.
The art is beautiful and the writing is gripping. Love it!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Oh, it's a really creative idea to use the drag-and-drop function in a photography-like gameplay. You've executed it so well. The art style is also so well done!
Thank you so much! ;v;
Somebody using the quirks of early photography to pose as a medium is absolutely genius. Great premise with a tightly knit, well written story, not to mention stellar artwork and framing.
If I had one complaint it would be that some of the moments told through text I wished I was shown with visuals instead, but I'm sure that was a limitation from time. Overall, fantastic work!
Thank you! "Spirit photography" was an actual phenomenon that I thought would be fun to make a story around, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D If it's cool to ask, were there any scenes in particular that you really wished had visuals for?
I'd say the one that stood out was the dream sequence, as well as the scene in chapt. 4 where Edith appears behind Arthur- even though in that one we eventually do get to see her, I found it a bit of a missed opportunity that I was given a description of her appearance first, and then see her a beat later. I'd also have loved to see a little snippet of the two in the Carpe Diem ending. Just my two cents.
Really interesting story and 10/10 artstyle. Visual novel submissions are really going all out in this jam so far.
Thank you so much!
I loved it the artwork and sound design were soo well made i enjoyed playing this great job
Thanks for playing! :D
Great artworks. Really great concepts here.
Thank you! :D
Really enjoyed this! Was hooked the entire time and loved the interactiveness of it. Got ending 3.
Fantastic art and aesthetic overall. Not a "scary" game but still "spooky" nonetheless.
Not sure if you have any future plans with the story/game, but would definitely be interested to see it developed further.
Great job!
Thank you so much! :)
im not a fan of those type of game but a realy like the eastetic and i play a little and i love the story so far and its very polis too nice job. sorry for my english
For the first time, I played a horror visual novel game, and I really enjoyed the depth of the story and the visual art. Good job!
Thank you! :D
Amazing story and definitely a lot of potential as a full game! The story is really unique and interesting as a concept! I think the endings were great too! We really enjoyed playing this game, and would love to see more in the future!
Great work and thank you for the game!
Small feedback, I could hardly hear the sound effects on the normal setting and when boosted up it was still really subtle. Could be an intentional choice to not scare the players? But did wish there were more sound effects to add to them immersion.
Thank you so much for playing it, I really appreciate the feedback too! (I added the sounds at the last minute so we'll definitely try to fix that haha.)
Phenomenal as always
Very honoured to hear that!! ;v;
This is awesome! Really enjoyed the story, the art was also super cool.
Thanks so much! ;v;
