What a nice game! I loved the atmosphere, though I'm not always a fan of games ending with scares but that's just a personal preference. Cool Aesthetics too! "There's a sound coming from the staircase, I should investigate it" I just said NAH audibly

Oh wow, thank you for the feedback and the playthrough! I never even considered that the fog might be a little much, seemed fine with my playtesters. Maybe it’s some kind of hardware issue? Either way I’ll take that into consideration and I agree that the monsters were really easy, if I continue the project I’ll balance the difficulty a bit more as I’ve said in other comments. Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing! Definitely, those enemies are more designed for foggy areas but I ran out of time to add any others so they had to become the only actual gameplay available meaning I had to use them a bit more liberally.

Thank you! Glad you liked it

Thanks!! Totally agree, not proud of the game design choices I made while making it so hopefully I can redeem it after the jam ends.

ah.. I’m dumb lmao had no clue there was a flashlight

Awesome game! I've never really played typing games before, so this was really fun. I ain't even know some of those words existed! Cool music and art too.

AMAZING art and music. Takes a while to figure out what's happening but it's quite fun once you do. The monster creator is really unique and fun, I love the dynamic sprites.

(1 edit)

This game is really cool, I love the visuals and the concept is interesting! However, it is very confusing on what you are meant to do and very hard to see at times. I have really no clue what is killing me, my first guess was staying in one room for too long but it seems it might be something I'm bumping into? As others have said I don't have issues with epilepsy but the flashing lights are quite hard on the eyes and although I'm a very fast reader other players might have issues with reading the text in time. Also the 'multiple people speaking at once' bug came up in my playthrough too as another commenter said.

It is still impressive what you've got done in only seven days! I'd love to see more of this game after the jam.

Dang, I'd love to try this game in exchange but it seems no matter what version I try windows will flag it as a virus and won't let me download it. From the screenshots it looks pretty cool!

Cool game! I tried two runs of the game, the first one of which I couldn't figure out how to detach the load and after about 5 minutes I guess whatever was meant to be the monster got in and started making growling noises in the first area of the game? I think it was a monster anyway cause I couldn't see it at all. Second run the manager would roast my parking skills despite it being near perfectly parked, so I just tried to cruise around like another commenter and flipped the truck over LMAO

Overall, fun game but I wish it were a little clearer in the beginning what you were supposed to do. Loved the radio too!

Thanks for playing! I guess the game really does jump between horror aspects and just a shooter, I’ll have to try and fix that if I do something with it after the jam.

Thank you for the feedback! Totally agree with what you said, a week was a pretty brutal deadline but I might be able to expand it after the jam :>

Thank you! Yeah, the game is quite slow and I really felt that during play testing it over and over again but I didn’t have time to make it more exciting 😭

Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

I’ll definitely rate your game tomorrow morning, it looks great! If you’d like to check out my game here’s the link, it ain’t much though lol

https://phosphorus-cat.itch.io/ferosystema ill be happy to rate your game tomorrow first thing in the morning!

Sick game! Art was really cool, and I like the fight music too!

Thank you, I was going for that with the first enemy! OG plan was to have more enemies spawn after that sequence but I ran out of time lol

Cool game! I loved the character models

This game is awesome! Super fun, I love the atmosphere and the story. Gameplay was also super engaging and enjoyable. One of my favourites in the jam so far.

Fun game!! Really enjoyed it, the mechanics reminded me of some other horror game but I cant remember the name :[

Awesome game!! Super massive map too, impressive.

thank you! glad you enjoyed!

Great game! Some of the scares def got me and I love the designs of some of the characters like the train attendant.

This is awesome! Really enjoyed the story, the art was also super cool.

YEAHHH!!!!!!! Awesome game, cannibalism in videogames my beloved

my guy really felt his tummy rumble once and decided to bite his fingers off lmao

Super cool game!

Really liked this game, art is super nice. Only issue I ran into was soft locking myself in the bottle level by getting the handle of the gripper stuck in the neck of the bottle :[

Yeah, I wish I had the time to make a large to small transition but I only had time to combine the other two transitions together. I’ll be changing the tutorial text to account for remapped controls so I’ll look into making it easier to read! Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah, glad people brought it up. Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Ooo, yes a bigger horizontal force to the big guy's jump is a good idea. Thank you for the feedback!

Awesome game, the level design is so good!!! I had fun on every level. If I were to offer one bit of criticism, is that having the platform switching button of the yellow and orange ones be space messed me up a bit because I'm used to that being the jump button so I would press it sometimes when I wanted to jump lol. Not a big thing though, still had a lot of fun. Would love to see more levels in the future!

Thank you for the feedback! Another commenter also mentioned the one hand controls being weird so I'll def add the option to remap controls after the jam.

This is a really awesome game! Super cozy, all the art looks really good, the movement feels nice, and the platforms aren't as annoying as I thought they would be to place (if that makes sense). Controls were slightly confusing at first but good when you get the hang of it.

The art and atmosphere is great. The main menu is super creative, and the entire presentation from the UI to the photos you get is really well done. The car seems slightly unfair as it pops up without much warning, but I suppose it's a deterrent from staying on the road.

The art was very cool and the fact that you zoom out every time you gain a new size is really interesting and satisfying. The crafting is quite weird though, I feel like there's a better method that could've been used.
