The parallax style shadows leave quite an impression! The visual style is so dour and monochrome in a way that pairs well with the atmosphere. Both states of light being used to fend off enemies is a great idea, and I escaped after a few tries. The trees are a little choppy performance-wise - pun intended, but such a great scare.
Thanks for submitting Lost Rite to the jam!
I made a video of your game. It's at the 7:22 mark of this video.
Yo! thanks for featuring my game, I'll share this with my friends.
Ack! Spooky trees and spooky ghosts! Go away! D:
It's a short game, but I like the game mechanics and how you shouldn't keep your flashlight on for too long nor should you turn it off for too long.
I wasn’t really sure what to do and the game froze for several seconds once per death, but I think the idea is pretty cool. Nice job! :)
Yeah... I didn't put an objective in-game, thanks for the feedback.
Hee-ho. Good game, interesting idea with trees, but I have performance issue (when 2 trees run after you, FPS drop)
Simple but nice. I like how the two monster types have the opposite mechanic of each other.
Creepy game, I didn't expect the trees to suddenly turn on me haha
Pretty fun, got lost once, almost got jump scared by the invisible monster guy
