This reminds me of a horror game I played using photography for its assets called A Date in the Park so I really appreciate this. The surreal and cryptic interactions are a nice touch as well. The animated silhouette absolutely got me! Hey, one idea - try hue shifting the color pallete of the assets slightly to blue to nail that moody night look.
Thanks for submitting One Weird Night to the jam!
Nice idea! for me the playable map was a bit tiny, but the whole thing worked well together. I would enjoy a longer play or some even stranger events. Also the pixelated look made it flow very well. Good job developers!
You've got something going with the style of text, confusing and mysterious in a good way indeed, I liked the pixel-y look.
I would enjoy seeing something more made with this style.
We are in awe at the current submission
Sus...
Don't give up, there is potential here for the weirdest game ever! Very sus.
I’m in love with the text, the interactivity and the visuals! The whole aesthetic really does come all together! I’ve never seen a game quite like this and I enjoyed every moment of it, hope to see a longer version outside the Jam or any other project of this kind. Great job!!! ♥
(the deranged man in the forest caught me off guard, did they release him from prison again? what a sus guy. 10/10)
haha this game is awesome. the visuals were great, i enjoyed the blue inspected objects that were a bit mysterious. as another commenter said, good potential! i mean really, this is great! the interactivity of the fence was definitely a highlight. cant wait to see if you continue!
Interesting game, it has good potential! I like the music, backgrounds, the abstract writing. If you continue with it I think it might benefit from more interactivity like the fence. Great work overall!
Yup, that sure was a weird night. I really liked what you have so far and I enjoyed the sus in the woods. Great Job!
