Good game. It looks cool, but the UE models spoil the atmosphere a little. Maybe I’m playing wrong somehow, but in the hospital I missed two screamers, there was a sound but I didn’t see anything.

Developer(+1)

The models are actually just basic mannequin models, maybe making them white wasn't the best choice in hindsight. Some areas have scares that if your not looking the right way you'll miss it. Maybe I need to add conditions that if you can see it, you cant trigger it.

I mean, this one was more than perfect; I loved both visuals and gameplay. The story itself was interesting as well.

And I loved the fact that you added voice acting to your game.

Well done.

Developer

Thanks, this is the first time I've attempted proper VO in one of these jams. So adding that on top of trying to include all the other "video game" things (menus, cinematics, etc) was quite the challenge.

I liked it a lot, I loved the way you designed the levels and how you told the story. I think the voice acting and the cinematics were a great addition. I wasn't expecting the ending, very well done!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you liked it. The rather silly way I did the cinematics and dialogue took so much time, but I like how it ties it all together so I guess it was worth it.

Very clever storytelling there, and I love how the atmosphere and gameplay are tied together so well. The graphics are rendered beautifully. Really well made!

Developer

Thanks for playing. I really wanted to put a proper story into this Jam  but I got far too ambitious and had to cut a lot out so It's good to hear what made it in resembled any level of a story haha

very good job, I really liked the hospital part, I think you have a very good atmosphere, and I've been scared a couple of times, you are one of my favourites of this gamejam

Developer

I'm glad the time I put in was able to translate into a couple spooks, By the end I wasn't sure it was actually scary haha. Thanks for playing.

personally, I think it has a good atmosphere, but you have too much jumpscare, I don't mean the fnaf type (which you don't have), you use too many moments that loud sound + image = scare, one like this that was unnecessary is the mannequin that seems to have an epileptic seizure, I also think that the atmosphere is well achieved so it also makes you tense

I really liked the opening cinematic and how you’ve approached the originality of your project. Very well done!😉

Developer(+1)

With these jams I always try to do something new or to learn something. This go around I wanted something a little more cinematic so I'm glad it worked out.

Really liked the voice acting in this one! Your level design was also very nice, found it very intuitive and noticed there were sound effects that were used to clue the player as to where to go which I thought was a nice touch. The scares also got me a couple of times even though i knew it was coming haha

Developer(+1)

This seems like a challenge to make the scares more unpredictable… Challenge Accepted!

But in all seriousness thank you for playing and for the feedback.

Graphics are seriously impressive! The match of voice acting and nice intro story is really good!

Hey played through till the end, REALLY nice well put game, the graphics and sound, also liked how you showed the mission on the top left with the sliding in text.

Congrats!

Developer

Thanks, I really get far too visually ambitious for these game jams. This particular one really came down to the wire to get everything in there.
