The idea behind the game is fun, and I really enjoy placing down the towers. There were a couple problems with the game. You could kick enemies off screen and they either never return or take a long time. They also do not damage the center hut as far as I am aware, so there is no real incentive to kill them.
While short, I find this game to be an enjoyable take on the tower-defense genre. Being able to place the towers wherever you like is much less restrictive than the usual requirement of only being able to build in set areas or having to work in some kind of grid. If there's any changes I'd recommend you make, I think making the UI more in-depth would be nice, such as letting the player see how many enemies are left, or letting the player see the time between waves. Overall though, you've done good work here
I really like the premise of this game and the way that you place towers feels good and rewarding. I think the enemies could deal more damage or somehow be even more difficult because I found that I only took about 5 or 10 damage on average. I did notice some buggy behavior from the enemies that prevented me from progressing the game. On wave 2, the last two enemies got hit by something that made them fly off the screen's play area and so they never registered as defeated and I couldn't reach them. You could add a "kill zone" around the visible area that kills the enemies that make it out for whatever reason as a failsafe for that bug. Also to avoid it, a way back to the menu would help to restart if you get stuck.
The tower defense Idea is a great one. it is fun to place the little buildings and watch them do all the work for you, especially when the little goblins leave their tower to defend. The healing tower doesn't seem to work though, because whenever I try to place it, the game just tells me how much gold I have. Other than that, this is a fun tower defense game.
This is a great small defense game! You implemented the towers functionality really well and the waves of enemies provide a good challenge. The mechanism of using the cash to build the towers is really well done, though it can be a little confusing. I would maybe add some more feedback text for the user. I like the mechanism of placing the towers where the player moves to, so the player has a lot more freedom with the placement. Maybe add some "platforms" to the ground to give the player some structure to the placement. Overall, a great game! I can't wait to see where you go from here.
I love the game, it was so fun. There was a long pause between the rounds and I couldn't tell when they were coming back maybe give an indicator. The UI was set up great. I did have a hard time putting down a healer. Great game idea and I love the meta of putting down defender towers and then knocking the enemies into them with your character.
The help menu seems to be a little broken, the back button is under the three main buttons that I'm assuming are supposed to disappear. The gameplay is a really fun concept, but I struggled to be able to place a healing tower. When I was able to place a healer tower, I was able to do so without enough gold and drop to -10 cash. The player can hit the enemies with so much force that it seems to launch them so far away the game becomes soft-locked. Otherwise, I really like this concept and I think if bounding boxes were set up just outside the screen to keep the enemies from being knocked too far away this game could be a lot of fun!
I like the idea a lot! Tower defense games are always fun.
Once I defeated the first wave of enemies, no more seemed to spawn (even after waiting 20 seconds) and I didn't get a win/loss message so I'm not sure if I did it correctly. I was also surprised to realize I needed to click to place the tower after pressing a number key. However, the towers seemed to function as expected and I enjoyed watching the archer tower fire arrows. I would've been happy to keep playing if the enemies spawned.
