  • PSX horror done perfectly. Comedy is fantastic. I'd love to see either this expanded upon or a full PSX style comedy horror game from you in the future. You have talent!
  • Absolutely floored by how perfectly you nailed the PS1 aesthetic. Great use of the theme as well, the ending was PERFECT
  • If there was a 4.5 star option for ratings, I would have given 4.5 for visuals due to there not being a coil of shit under the skibidi zombie. Hopefully Matt will fix that. 5's across the board though. Great job.

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
It tries to be barely working game prototype from 1997

I played this and loved the overall experience.
While not one for Tank Controls myself I couldn't help but love everything in this.
I loved the Car Driving Scene, the zombies were so great as well! The ending was perfect as well lol

Overall I rated this 5/5 from the execution of it to the theme to all the little references here and there.

Very well made, clever concept and use of the jam theme, great sense of humor. Easily one of my favorites of the jam so far!

THE MOST FUN I HAD FOR MONTHS! MATT DESERVES A RAISE FOR THIS  ✨✨✨✨✨

What a game! What an experience! I honestly didn't expect much from this, considering the fact that it was made for a game jam, but I was mistaken - this offers more than most other, bigger, longer horror games can offer. The atmosphere was so good in this, the animations, the custom characters and every little call back to Resident Evil. I especially adored this game, because as a game developer, I understood instantly that some things were intentionally misplaced and I had a good laugh! Thanks for that!

Best of luck with the game jam and future projects! Cheers 🍻

Way cooler than I expected!, It was a really cool game. The Resident Evil-inspired elements fit really well. The use of corruptions as actual puzzle mechanics and challenges was a great touch. It was also a lot funnier than I expected—that ending gag with the car actually got a laugh out of me. This game is proboly the best game jam game i played so far. And lastly i enjoyed that I shit my pants run john has. How did you guys do this in under a week???"

Thanks

I took a vacation, and was fully focused on getting game done. Though i admit, i overscoped and had too much crunch in last two days to get it finished.
