  • Creativity was nice, it was a nice touch to have the enemies you fight become allies. The intro story was a nice touch. Gameplay was fine. I felt the battles were just long for the sake of being long. I never felt really challenged, even when I had only 2 members in the party. Theme interpretation is great. Loved the idea of fighting dark possessed allies to save them. Polish is ok, would have loved more music to help the battles and the game. I did have a hard time understanding what was a doorway or not. And there was one hallway where I activated candles but the light in the room didnt go up.

Great story and interpretation of the theme. I really enjoyed the game. Maybe too hard, I kept getting killed, but maybe I'm just a bad player. Well done!

Thank you so much!! :D

The visuals are nice and the storytelling is good, but I find the battles a bit confusing. Not sure if it was a bug but sometimes felt it was taking my turns automatically.

Developer

That's weird! I'll see if I can figure out what's going on, I used the default battle system so there shouldn't have been bugs there :')

Thank you so much for the compliments on the story and art! :D

RPGMaker2000 was the first IDE with which I started creating complete video games (years before I had started with GWBasic). I recognized it immediately from the start! unfortunately I die immediately when I meet the first shade and I don't understand how to kill her using magic

Thank you so much for trying it! I think I set the difficulty too high there, I didn't have enough time to test it well :')

This was great for a first try with RPG Maker - You managed to suck me straight into the story with your writing and presentation. :)

OMG thank you so much!! That means a lot!! :'D

I don't like games made in rpg maker, this game has problems with wall collisions and triggers. good luck!

Hmm, unfortunately I wasn't able to extract/run this game. I won't rate it. Hopefully some other people can get it to work.

Developer

Thank you so much for letting me know! It's fixed! I'm a total newbie when it comes to rpgmaker so i zipped the wrong folder :')

Glad to see you got it working. I tried it again and had a lot of fun with it. There were a couple of candles that I wasn't able to light for some reason, but I was able to beat the end boss. The narrative, art, and music were all really good. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it!! :D
