I finally figured out the problem in the skills menu and fixed a bug in the dash attack skill. now the game is free from major bugs!!!enjoy it!

thanks to U for this report. soon i hope to enter in debug mode. for now i'm building the Main vers that is too much different from this one ( not in game design but in graphics and environment ). yes in this release Forge menu it's a dead end :P

please game are also playable in broweser via GX.Games (html5 vers. is bugged and i've not time to fix it) for now only tutorial is available. in this remaining time try to improve complete version too

RPGMaker2000 was the first IDE with which I started creating complete video games (years before I had started with GWBasic). I recognized it immediately from the start! unfortunately I die immediately when I meet the first shade and I don't understand how to kill her using magic

i don't know Unity, but in GMS i do in this way : at the beginning of Step Event ( on Update in Unity ) i set an if condition that check for a boolean ( generally a boolean variable of the Main Engine object ) this bool could be named pauseEvent and if is false Update will be skipped

nice, nice, nice. graphics and controls are perfects. gameplay it's a classic! not really good theme interpretation, imho.

love the way to swing axe all around! but i complained about absence of a pause system when reading clues and messages. 've missed to understand how defeat boss :(

tricky  game. wonderfull the electric train !!! not intuitive open door as black rectangle on thw wall. perhaps a pointing arrow could be a solution

thanks 4 feedback. level are differents if U play in browser or after downloaded .exe ( i suggest to play real game with .exe
the real game have always a fixed spawn or starting point for Character, and his friends spawn in random position so U need to RUN throught passages and floors to find Friend before enemies kill U or light fade out

this also works fine! but i'm not good to fight using right hand on mouse and a single left hand to move and jump ( normally WASD is for exclusive use to a single hand ). perhaps button settings with attack on left mouse button and jump on right mouse button sound better 

tutorial is a safe mode without loss of light and death state

sorry, don't reach to collect torch using E or anykey
