Its a good start, the games made so far are fun. A bit more time to implement more variety of games and you would have a solid game. For 72 hours, this is a decent effort!

Thanks for playing. Yeah a good suggestion, it should be more obvious when the boss is defeated (he retreats and will appear again other levels). The player health bar is the amount of ether that has been collected. It acts as a shield but also makes you more powerful (rate of fire) and agile (tighter control of the broomstick). It depletes when hit but also each time you fire or use a spell (that wasn't implemented in time).

The idea of the mechanic is that the player has to be strategic in how they use the ether, rather than go gung ho they may wish to conserve their shots. When battling the end boss, you may want to mix up hitting the boss or going for the red ghost that are more likely to drop more ether. I would've liked to have made this more obvious with a tutorial or similar but time was just too tight!

This is fun! Definitely a "just one more go" type of game. 

The visuals are nice and the storytelling is good, but I find the battles a bit confusing. Not sure if it was a bug but sometimes felt it was taking my turns automatically.

Simple but fun game. As per other comments, I found the difficulty a bit high for first act, good fun though.

Its definitely satisfying! Just wish there was more gameplay, there's a game in there. Full marks for theme interpretation!

Nice game, I had fun. The art and music work well with the gameplay. I found it difficult to begin with until I figured out that running blindly until I find a lantern is not the best strategy haha! Well done though.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, I appreciate it. All valid points that I have noted. although the sloppy handling is by design, it tightens up as you collect more ether. You become more powerful and agile, but admittedly the balancing needs work.

Initial release contains some display bugs, when viewing in full screen and some screen modes

Thanks! Unfortunately, I am not able to readily test on macOS. I think ACB games was running it on a mac when he streamed it, not sure what he did but looked like he renamed it. It's  something I am aware of now, so will pay more attention to in the future though. 

Took me a little while to figure out what's going on, but it's a pretty cool, simple mechanic. Would be cool to play against someone on split screen. The music fits the experience nicely. Hope you continue to work on it.

Nice calming atmosphere. Got a bit glitchy when, at times, it stopped devouring the balls i was in contact with.   

This has good gameplay and is satisfying to destroy the towers. As noted below, the difficulty does ramp up too quick.

The growth visibility is an issue, I have some ideas to experiment with. That's a good idea to use the mouse for the orb. I hadn't thought about that, I'll play with that idea too, thank you.

You have done the paper effect well and the gameplay is nice. Music fits in well too. Just the growth theme is missing but i see you have explained that below. Good job.

Nice atmosphere you have created. A minimap would be helpful though.
