I was surprised at how different the two stories were. I felt like the music you picked really set the tone. I love a good tone. Anyways it was nice having this 2 for 1 kind of deal. not counting the credits which i ofc clicked first how can you not. ( ̄︶ ̄)↗

Thank you! ^^ I was pretty happy with the music we ended up finding too. It must have been an interesting experience choosing to watch the credits first... :D

Two great stories! I'd been looking forward to this entry from the start of the jam and it certainly delivered!

Both stories were wonderful. I loved the idea of the dead letters office and the uncanny messages. Also I can't get the idea of Girl Dracula out of my head!

Thanks so much for making these stories (and the credits) I genuinely had a great time!

Thank you so much for playing them! Both of us are happy you had a good time. ^^

If you like the idea of Girl Dracula, make sure to keep an eye out for our Winter VN Jam game! ;)

This was wonderful! Dead letters was eerie, atmospheric and left me wanting more. The backgrounds and style fit the theme perfectly.

Vamp me was so charming. It was so funny, sweet and wonderful in its presentation. Had me smiling throughout! Although I have a soft spot for comedy tales about summoning a creature lol

The credits were adorable lol

Loved this! Great work!

I got to "bootleg hooch" and read the rest of Dead Letters in a Mid-Atlantic accent in my head (like Orson Welles' radio performance of "War of the Worlds"). It's a fantastic riff on vintage pulp fiction, and I enjoyed it immensely! ✨ Vamp Me is absolutely darling, and made me laugh more than once. Excellent work, both of you! (also: I read the credits on purpose and have zero regrets; they are charming!)

That's exactly the voice that Sadie wanted her story to be read in! :D Both of us are so happy that you enjoyed our stories, thank you so much for reading them!

This was both adorable and creepy, but definitely more adorable :P I absolutely love anthologies and short story stuff in general, so this was on my list from the start to make sure I checked out, and it didn't disappoint <3

The more serious story was legitimately creepy! I figured I'd start with that one and go with the more casual one second since I love scary stories, but I think I enjoyed them both equally, and it was a nice change of pace switching to the cuter one :3

Also, I have to say that I really enjoyed the credits! That put a big smile on my face :D wasn't expecting it at all, haha.

Thank you! We're both happy you liked each of our stories... and that the credits made you smile! Those were really fun to write! :)

This one was really, really fun. It is separated into two tales: Trick and Treat. While both of them are pretty short, I can admire the especially the writing in both.

Trick is a chilling to the bone story with some horrifying descriptions and, to my own personal enjoyment, no jumpscares. Although it was shorter than Treat, I think the pacing was great and it didn't overstay its welcome. It had just the right amount of creepiness and vague descriptions to keep it interesting. I loved it.

Treat was much more lighthearted and extraordinarily heart-warming. It was, really, REALLY funny as well. Had some great art, character design and some exceptional dialogue. The ending was also great.

Credits are very charming as well, and had a lot of bitey personality!
Overall, I really loved this one and both routes were masterfully crafted within their scope. Fantastic work!

How fun!! I loved both stories, they were both delightful in their own ways!

The dead letters were really cool, I'm a fan of that kind of spooky mystery - the aura of something going horribly wrong was super fun! And the witchy story was super cute and wholesome, had me smiling with the punchy dialogue

Buddy. Pal. Bestie. This game's so funny and scary.

I really liked both stories, and I urge anyone who plays it to pick "I'm too scared" when the option appears.

The scary one, was really well ambientated and written, I even clicked fast when the words translated themselves, it was very inmersive and as I said before... scary!

As for the funny one, I loved the adittion of characters and the music, those designs were lovely, and the music acompanied them and the funny dialogues so well!
