A nice easy-to-learn mechanic with logical complications. Also, really enjoyed the music while playing!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks for playing :)

Hey great concept! I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Developer

Yay! Thanks for playing :)

I like the music! I must admit I pressed buttons randomly in order to get through level 12 - I’m not sure what the function of the coral blocks is. Either way, nice game!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing!

Well, coral blocks were intended to be clouds... They just hide the tile from your view. Yeah, the art is not my strength as well, not in two days at least (I started late).

I'm really glad you liked the music :D

It took me a while, although I mostly brute-forced my way to the end without planning my moves too much!  I always have a soft spot for puzzle games.  It was a fun game with a nice cozy soundtrack.  Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I'm relieved to hear that the game was fun and I'm glad that you liked the soundtrack :D I put a lot of effort into it.

Oh, I didn't realize you made the soundtrack! Awesome work!  💯💯💯

Ran the Ubuntu 22.04 without an issue. Made it to the last level but could not figure out the hidden combo

Thanks for playing!

I'm quite bad at level design... You can use the level editor to take a look at the existing level and/or create a new one :D

If you can't run the game on linux from binaries you can run windows version with wine:

wine start /d waller/bin waller/bin/waller.exe
wine start /d waller/bin waller/bin/waller-editor.exe <level-number>
wine start /d waller/bin waller/bin/waller-editor.exe -W <new-width> -H <new-height> <new-level-number>

This seems to (unfortunately) hang after closing the window, you will need kill the process / interrupt it with ctrl+c

Thanks, I got it to run with wine.

Hey. Haven’t been able to run from binaries (on Gentoo nor Ubuntu 22.04 VM), but easily started from REPL, thanks for detailed setup instructions, fellow Common Lisper :)

The game itself is veary relaxing and enjoyable. Wasn’t quite sure about all the rules, so failed to solve 9, 11 and 12, but still love it :)

Thanks for trying it out!

About binaries for linux - I guess some indirect dependencies (like dependencies of SDL2) are missing, will look into it!
