Simply incredible! I haven't been able to fully beat it yet, but all the parts of this game really come together quite well. Was already impressed even before I saw you get semi-randomized upgrades between levels,- very nice! A very creative style of gameplay too.

Very polished game, the art, music, gameplay were all on point! It's really hard too, I couldn't get past the second level with the thunder clouds, but overall I'd say it's one of the best of the jam, very well done!

This game is super well done.  I may have gotten into some sort of bug that kept me from talking to the merchant, the second level, but I'll comment on the level I was able to play (so only level 1).

This game felt good to play.  The movement, music and the art matched very well with each other.  When I first played it, I didn't look at the help menu until later, and it made it easy to understand that the priority was more about the birds and the balloons versus the rocks.  The rocks are kind of hard to move off, but I read a comment somewhere about moving the rocks off in-between levels vs making them a priority so that's helpful (except for when i was struggling and the goblins were being ruthless with the rocks!!)

The only gripe I have is the cursor -- when in the pause menu, the cursor doesn't appear and it's a struggle to know where my mouse is to look at the options.

Thanks a lot! The merchant bug might be because you can't talk to the merchant until all balloons and birds are dealt with (not 100% intended behaviour, I'd like to at least have this be clearer for the player haha).  We really appreciate the compliments and I really agree about the rocks, one of the things we're planning to change is how it is almost not worth it to push rocks off because it takes so long. And the cursor is high on the list as well :)

fantastic entry! LOVED the music. The art. The environment. The gamefeel. It's all really polished. Well done!

The game feels very polished. The art is beautiful. The enemies sprites are very well done. Unfortunately we couldn't get pass level 2 because of a bug. Overall great game!

I love everything about the game :) I don't think i even have to mention how good the art/sound design is. Controls and mechanics are fluid and feel professional. The concept is innovative and fun. I agree that the game becomes super difficult starting from level 2. There is also a bug where the balloons stop throwing tar birds and only throw debris. I think it happens whenever you restart after losing.

Ok, I think I know what's happening here:
- enemies stop throwing birds after a while, so the player cannot just "farm" them.
- whatever value controls this isn't reset when the game is restarted
> Enemies just don't throw tar birds after a reset

Wow thank you so much that means a lot! Keep an eye out for updates after the voting period, because we are planning on fixing the balancing issues and adding many new features :)

very nice game. loved the mechanics and the art. it was too difficult I only got to level 2 even though I played for 20 minutes.

Developer

Thank you! We understand it's a tad too difficult and we're definitely planning on improving the balance after the voting period. If you ever give it another go, I recommend clearing the island of rocks between levels (they don't get removed, oops) and focusing on the air balloons & birds rather than shoving rocks off the island.

Super polished, beautiful game. Fun, good music, cool upgrades, cool mechanics. Very well done!
