Neat idea and a good base for a game! Based on the visuals and your explanation this sounds really cool! Really wish I get to play a complete version in the future! Keep it up!

Interesting concept, I'd love to play a complete version sometime! Looks like it could have been fun with a little more time!

Developer

Thanks! I am planning to see how much of the original concept I can get finished over a few weeks after the jam concludes.

I can see how the game could have turned out pretty interesting if given enough time. I see you're working with Gamemaker, so here's a little suggestion/tip for you to make your life easier: Check out scribble! It's a free and easy to use package you can import into your project to expand on game maker's text options. In a game like your's it could be used to prepare small sprites to be integrated into text. Like icons for food, iron and stuff. Also let's you change text color mid-string, to make color coding of resources easier.

Developer

Thank you! I actually used Unity for this, but will keep that in mind for once I try out Gamemaker. That does seem useful, because funnily enough icons for resources was something I was planning to get around to before I ran out of time.

Oh? I think the game icon was the default gamemaker one so I assumed u were using it.

The concept is pretty cool. Even incomplete, you submitted something.

Developer

Thanks! It's not my best work, but I learned a lot and I think the concept could be built into something neat.
