I beat it instantly without even really trying, I guess luck can really play a huge part. other than that the base concept is pretty neat I think! I'd be curious to see it developed further.

also the ai art is pretty trash and even the most rushed rudimentary sprites have more personality but we all knew that already x_x I hope if you decide to keep working on this you can manage to add your own sprites (:

My rating: 1 AI generated half pixel out of 1

I was not able to beat it. I really like the concept behind it, but I just couldn't navigate through the map fast enough. I also really wish the game had a warning when your timer was low because I thought I died for no reason multiple times.

I would very strongly recommend an ingame tutorial next time, and completely hand drawn art.

Developer

Good shout, yes I think something like that would help. It's all random based so it can get really easy or hard depending on the numbers. Thanks so much for playing through.

Not a big fan of AI art

yes sadly as explained we had to use placeholders but we had so much fun making the game so will carry on developing it and have the artist do all elements.

Submitted(+1)

ok, but in the future just use basic shapes as placeholders

Developer

We didnt want to do that, we preferred to use something a little more detailed, thanks

Good work, I enjoyed it! And I'm not just saying that cause I escaped the forst.

Developer

Thanks! still very new to flowlab so there was many times when I was pulling out my hair, the game has a few issues, it can either be too hard or too easy, i guess thats why most games are tested more than a couple days haha. Thanks for playing though.

I get that, it was my first time using Flowlab, and I'm so used to being able to quickly hard code myself a makeshift solution; it was an interesting challenge getting things to work the way I want with just visual scripting. Scrapped the project twice to rebuild it with a cleaner setup.

Developer

keep as it bud! I thought you game was great, ovs there room for improvement which you will naturally do as you use the engine more. We didn't scrap our game but it did change how we wanted others to play it.

I didn't like the AI art that much, and the gameplay felt a bit boring and too luck-based

Developer

yep art been explained in previous comments but thanks for input. As for luck I tottaly agree with you, something we plan to refine when we develop the game, thanks for playing and giving your feedback. Shall try to make it less boring  :)

Not really a big fan of the AI generated art. The gameplay feels like it’s a bit too luck based.

The effects and stuff were really good though! Specifically the camera easing and stuff

Developer

thanks, yer I agree but we were limited on time due to work but hoping to expand and fix bits including the art. I agree on the luck part too, we did a bit of play testing which is why we included a set number of rooms before the exit spawns but It defs needs alot of work, still we are both pretty new to flowlab and game making in general so we learned loads.

Is this ai generated?

Developer

Hi sorry didnt see this, yes sadly due to work and stuff we had to use some placeholders but we had loads of fun making it so looking to expand the game and have the artist finish off all the bits they wanted. Loved your game btw great job!
