This game plays really well, and I have to give props to you for that. However, as many others have said, there was a lack of any clear objective. The methodology of using shields and ammo sparingly is a smart move, one which should trigger a sort of survival instinct, only used ammo when needed, etc. but I have yet to feel as such. My guess is due to the lack of objective. On the art side, the models all looked really good, as well as the main game UI feeling coherent with the overall game theme. However, the main menu (and you have to forgive my wording here) is atrocious. The idea of showing multiple crashed ships is a smart concept, but the default fire effect, the default unity skybox, and the default lighting braced me for something much worse than what I played. Remember, although your game page here on itch is like a book cover, your main menu is the first page. If it's bad, people will expect the worst.

Really solid game, the graphics are great and gameplay is well thought out with the ammo and shield pickups. The minimap is a fantastic stand-out addition, hats off to you for that! I do think that the level lacks an objective somewhat - while the timer and score are good features I feel they could have been used to give a more concrete object, perhaps seeing how fast you can clear a certain number of obstacles? But overall this is a really enjoyable game, congrats to the whole team!

A very enjoyable game, I though the animation for exploding was nice and the background animation was also nice too. The game was easy to play and easy to control however I didn't really understood how to shoot the missiles and was kind of confused for the goal of the game but overall the game was well done.

Liked the overall visual aspect of this game especialls the background design, the gameplay is fun and enjoyable. Loved the minimap at the bottom of the screen, was a little confused as to the goal of the game at first, a little text explaining the goal somewhere on screen would have been a nice touch. I also found that you could just take out all the bombs with the shield as you always have a new shield drifting past. Other than that good game, great job!

I think that this is a very solid submission, I really liked the visuals and the idea behind it.

The scoreboard and minimap are a nice addition, it gives flow and gives the player knowledge of improvement.

I discovered that with the amount of shields you were providing that you could just run through most of the bombs, this still gives points to the player, using this method you can make it to the end of the level rather quickly.

Awesome game! I liked the use of 3D - it made it stand out. The animations are so so good with the lightning strike. I also liked the mini map at the top of the screen. It would've been nice to have implemented levels as I don't think there were - otherwise when you zoomed to the end that was about it? Anyways amazing game which the whole team should be proud of :)
