Love the loading screen. Gameplay seems like just a clicker game. Audio sucked me right in. Love the art style.

Really good game, looks great and the transitions are just great. And knowing that all the art is from itch, it looks pretty seamless. Music is also great but maybe just tell the player that you need to click connect to load different levels. Also the goal isn't very clear first time playing. But overall a really fun experience

Developer

thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I'll definitely keep the suggestions in mind when revisiting this game!

For a first game, it's great!

It is a very good base to improve it! Yes it's very small and it deserves a little enlargement, but it's really a cool concept!

I imagine many ways to add content:

- BIG bosses full of HP

- Mobs with a timer that explode if they are not eliminated quickly (with a time penalty)

- "Ninja" mobs that run fast, hard to target...

Lots of ideas!

I hope you will continue this game, I like it a lot!

Very good work !!

Thank you for the kind words :) I plan on continuing with it! I have it coded in a way that allows a lot of scaling. I wanted to add character abilities, mobs fighting, store feature, difficulty scaling, you name it! I thought of it haha. I wanted to deliver a game jam prototype that was super easy to pick up and entertaining to grind different loot, well within the time constraints.  I felt like it was a good start too, so I think you may have motivated me to revisit sooner than I previously planned. Your game was excellent, so I value your feedback. Thanks for your time in playing my game :) Hope you had as much fun playing it, as I did making it!

Interesting game! I included it in my Time Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Unexpected interpretation of the theme Stream! I had fun clicking the little mobs and collecting loot. I think this interesting idea of teleporting between small generated areas can be explored more. I agree with Asdonaur on the sprites being a bit small, but anyway, it was a smooth feeling game.

P.S. I wonder if everyone can see my hi-score or is it just for me :D

Developer

it's just for you :) Glad you enjoyed it!

I read in the game page that this is your first game... And I think it is a great start!

My only complaint is the sprites of the enemies being a bit small, not in pixels, but in general size.

But I liked it. Good job!
