Suika Katamari???

Super polished, really fun to play and I love how expressive the character portraits were. Last stage was great, and the sprite of smol Suika defeating Reimu sent me

The presentation was nice, and I liked the difficulty of the final section, but the writing is actually the part I loved the most. It had the right mix of zaniness and heart, and combined really well with the art. It seems like Aqwa's taking this jam by storm.

Very cute

I kinda wish more of the game was Reimu chasing you! overall pretty cute and fun.

Being chased by Reimu was a truly scary experience. What a fun and silly game! Probably my favourite concept from the lot. As others have said, there were massive Katamari vibes from this! The art has so much charm and humour to it, and the music and UI complimented each other very nicely too (the lesbian coloured background got a laugh from me). You should expand on this, I'd love to play more!

A cute but short game that reminded me a lot of Katamari Damacy.

The gameplay was simple and fun.

The concept was neat, I liked the idea of a small Suika gradually returning to normal size. In a game with longer development time, it would have been fun to see the items you pick up change as you get larger.

The visuals were decent, overall the style I'd describe as "cute."

The audio was great, very good music for a game jam game.

The story and writing were decent, but the writing was marred by some stilted grammar and capitalization and punctuation mistakes.

The LGBT themes were light but present; the relationship between Kasen and Suika could either be interpreted romantically or as them being close friends.

Fun action game that goes straight to the point.

It took me like 10 minutes to end the game, but I see potential, feels like katamari and in the endgame you're even bigger than Reimu, so I think the "Im very smol" theme, kinda ended well, it just needs more bosses that clearly are small to represent that suika is getting bigger every level.

The visuals were funny, I would like to see more comedy in this style and gameplay.

So, in the end, it was too short, but I like what it offers.

What a cute game. Art, sprites, UI, sound and music are really polished and cohesive. The boss battle was a nice twist and it made the gameplay much more dynamic. The style for the portraits is simply adorable. I loved Kasen here and Suika’s personality, and the ending was very heartwarming. I want to play more!

Katamari with Suika is an interesting concept which is excecuted well, and the artstyle is great. They all look so silly!

You can use arrow keys, but thanks of reminding about WASD, will add that later

Easy 5 stars for the visuals, so cute and silly

What a nice game! I loved the art style (Reimu especially), and the soundtrack was really pleasant; the track for the first stage was the one I liked the most, the strings really made it shine! The story was interesting, it's a shame you didn't have enough time to complete it, but at least we got closure. Good job guys!

Just finished playing the Jam Version.

Dashing through food and walls as Suika is unexpectedly more fun than I thought. I think the vivid colours and the mood of the game and Suika's animation helped a lot. The portraits are very fun to look at too (especially Reimu, she looks squishy).

Would have really liked if the camera panned a bit more forward while running, or have it a bit more zoomed out. Also might be good to have something that clearly signals when Suika can break walls.
Also in the Jam version, I personally think the "difficulty content" is a bit odd. The stage is no challenge at all (it's literally just running, with no navigation challenge) but the boss stage is tight but fun - there's a small margin of error but the stage is short so retrying didn't feel bad. Maybe I find it to be perfection. Just need to make the food stash in the north of the map more obvious and it's gold.

All in all, very lovely. Props to everyone on your team! music is jam, art is nice, game's concept is fun.

Very fun and adorable game! I wish Itch wouldn't use 5 star rating system so I could rate it more accurately. But I enjoyed it. The art and music was great and was what made me try this game first out of all the submitted entries. The gameplay is pretty fun, but I felt it was a bit too simple for my taste. The addition of Reimu in the second level made it more interesting but it overall still felt too easy and simplistic. Don't get me wrong though, you should be proud of what you created, I enjoyed it!

Fantastic game starring one of my favorite Touhous. The visuals are so colorful, with the character portraits being my absolute favorite part. The gameplay works really nice, it would be really cool to see more levels cause it absolutely has a addicting gameplay loop. Main thing is I think it was a little too easy, like I am kinda just mindlessly dragging my mouse around and winning. I think there could've been some extra difficulty, like either a more stricter timer or having some obstacles around the stage. Surprisingly the Reimu boss didn't give me much trouble as the comments here have said.

Overall, really great, you should probably expand this more!

The LGBT theming was well done and relatable :) the gameplay was slightly slippery but fun.

The visuals, music and story are charming and the gameplay is easy to pick up, though it would be nice if there were more levels to gradually increase the difficulty rather than have it spike greatly in the second level. Still, it's a great game and I hope everyone involved in its development is proud of it!

It's a good game! The music got me panicking  when I realized Reimu was chasing me. Oh and the dialogue was fun to laugh at! Good game I hope theres more levels!

The SCREAM that I SCREMD when Reimu started running through the walls was real

Absolutely incredible art from top to bottom: t-posing Suika made me smile and all the expressions are amazing!! What an expressive game! I was sort of hoping for a Katamari Damacy type transition when the first stage occurred, giving you access to bigger food, but I think it just takes you a different Suika? It was a bit confusing. Overall though, very very fun and the Reimu boss fight added some good difficulty that would make this addictive with more levels! Really loved the music/script too :) Great job team!!
