I had to read the "How to play" a few times to understand how to play. As I learned, I tried to get on the list but witheout success 😄

Great game!

Developer

thank you! yes there are already some great scores in the list – it’s not so easy to land a top 10 score

I love that online feature :-)

Really good idea! I like your score mechanism how to influence game result.

Developer

Thank you very much! Glad if you had fun!

Nice Entry.  The themes interpreted in a unique way too! At first it does start off a bit slow, the controls take a few times to nail down. Once you get far enough though the ball speed is what you'd expect though. Great job

Developer

Thanks! How far did you get (level)?

Really nice idea. A little hard to judge the speeds/distances but the physics works well, the art is nice and the sound effects fit the game's theme.

Developer

Thank you very much! Yes yes, it’s a skill game, a second try after you got familiar is not the worst idea :)

This game was done really well! i loved it, and it takes a bit of skill to really master. Kinda enjoy the old carnival theme as well

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! If you were happy while playing, them I am also happy now :-)

Great game, the addition of a highscore is so cool. I had some trouble with anticipating the balls' movements at first but I could make it to #6 eventually. As a Bavarian I I couldn't help but notice the Oktoberfest-themed Lebkuchenherz :')

:-) Na dann servus! und prost!

Thanks for playing! I am happy if you had fun!

Very well rounded game, very impressed with the addition of the leaderboard! Like others have mentioned, the feel of the ball needs some work, but still such a great submission!

Developer

thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it

Incredibly satisfying, would love to play version with more fleshed out physics. Is this a 'real' game (as in can you go to a funfair and play it?) because it TOTALLY should be!!

Developer(+1)

i saw something similar years ago on a travelling fair – not exactly the same, but similar. yes this is a kind of skillgame that could very well fit on a real fair

Thank you for your feedback!

the physics… originally i tried with the physics engine but it was too complicated in that short time so i cut it and made a simple collision check. with more time, sure.

Well if you wanna team up next time I'd be more than happy to, I know my way around a physic or two

Very cool and funny game.

Developer

thank you!

Very fun game! Kinda confused at first but I got a hang of it after a while, the ball feels a bit odd (making it faster might help) but I like how the game looks! Overall 6/10!

Developer

Wow you even made a picture :-) Thanks!

Few... That was hard to reach the #8 place, but fun!

Developer

Thanks! Glad if you had fun!

I really like the look of the game! Feels polished, but also sort of nostalgic?

Personally, I did really struggle with the controls, though! It felt weird that pulling the string back would also shoot the ball back instead of forward, and I couldn't pull off the 'power shot' - I feel that it might be a resolution issue? Whenever my mouse went offscreen, the ball would automatically fire, so trying to fling it with force was difficult for me, sadly

Regardless, I do think the game looks very polished, hoping that the issue with the controls is more an issue on my part haha

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

You just have to have the mouse in the upper half of the screen before you start pulling then move down to pull the string

if you start pulling at the bottom where the ball is, the shot goes backward, yes.

Thank you very much for the feedback - i will add a note in the text of the game!

Ah, I see! I was only holding my mouse over the ball, thank you for explaining!

Developer(+1)

so try again to get into the highscores :-)
