Well I definitely didn't expect to be shooting fish out of the sky from a bush, so that's something. Though the background is more than a little distracting personally, the waves I could understand them moving, if a bit slower. But the bush is a little crazy.
Otherwise though it's a nice simple game, pretty hard depending on how crazy fast the fish decide to move, but relatively understandable and quick to hop into. Also there is a decent amount of feedback on hits which can be nice, if a bit weird on the actual audio for me, but I am also not one for audio.
Overall though, a nice simple to understand target shooting game, with an interesting art style.
Super nice and crunchy game. Kinda feels like if Blackthornprod made my submission to the jam.
I'm probably not the best person to look to for rating games but I enjoyed the way the game looks. The game fits the theme pretty well while being fun.
Realy nice game.
I like the hand-drawn / water-color art stile.
It has nice ramping and overall nice and juicy.
Nice game, and I love the art style and animations. The feedback (sounds, particles) when you shoot the fish is just plain great. If I had to change something in the game though, I would probably make the fish move just a tiny bit slower, and not lose the game when they go off the screen. Overall though, it's a nice game!
I love the art style.
The game could use a balance pass. Some of the fish are just too fast to possibly react to.
Yeah, it's because I added a mechanic to make the fish go faster, when time passes, but I kinda just added at the end, so it didn't really get balanced....
Haha, yeah, I've been there. With one of my Ludum Dare games I was feeling that it was way too easy, so I made some quick changes at the last minute to up the difficulty a bit but ran out of time for proper testing. I accidentally made it way too difficult, to the point where some players were getting frustrated and just having no fun. It really hurt my ratings, unfortunately.
