I really like the idea of moving inside the tram, it is original and makes us think differently than in usual vehicle games. I could have a very fun potential with variations (it makes me think of being on a boat rather than in a tram, where the position of passengers influences the way it moves ^^)

Developer(+1)

I was thinking the exact same thing, but I was imagining a cramped tram instead.

I was not expecting to move the conductor inside the tram but it is a really good idea. 👍 I like the music and your font. This game has a lot of potential in order to increase the difficulty.

Thank you for playing!

I love how the bidirectional aspect was implemented here - you actually have to think about where you are, not only on the rail, but also on the train itself. Really cool idea. Maybe there could also be some smaller stations inbetween the main stations where you are protected from the rain. Like this you could want to completely back off into hiding.

Visuals don't really have much going on with them other than a cool font, but the music was nice.

Good job!

Thank you for playing! I wanted to add more stations but didn't have the time. I only managed to get to the timer in the last 20 minutes.

I am not really any good at art, so that's why there is little focus there. Even still it took me like 40-ish minutes to make even this HAHA.

No worries. Art can really take a while even if you're trying to do it fast. I was barely able to finish the sprites for my game.

Cool idea with moving the conductor rather than just the tram so you have to think ahead, definitely quite tricky lol but really fun! Definitely potential for further ideas like other stations or some passenger mechanics like you mentioned in another comment. Well done

Thank you! Really appreciated!

Cool game, I liked the additional twist that it takes a bit to get from one side of the tram to the other before you can reverse direction. Difficult though, haha, I think I got up to 5 trips or so on my best run.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I admit I messed up the balancing HAHA.

Great game and idea. The game is just impossible I think? Unless I am missing something? I got luck one round and could drive from one side to the other without obstacles, but when I got there, 9 seconds already passed and the timer from where you started already was at 6 seconds, so there is no way to drive back in time even with no obstacles.

Otherwise this is an amazing prototype and has the potential to be a good game.

Developer

Glad  you liked it! I just messed up the balancing HAHA. If you want to get a lot of  "points" you have to play very risky.

Simple but very clean, I would be cool if there were a score system or a more complex network with more stations. I think the idea still has a lot of potential!

Developer

Yeah I had those planned but the three hours creeped up on me! I might add some more stuff after the jam is over!

I think you captured the tram really well! Love the conductor going back and forth inside it at each station. There is something very cool about having 2 "win" destinations. Thinking ahead, I wonder if there can be room for more strategic gameplay at the stations, maybe you leave early/wait longer for some passengers at one station and how this would affect the other station. ofc that complicates the game but would love to see it explored if you work further on this!

Developer

My original idea was to have passengers that you would move around (similarly to mini metro), but I had to simplify to fit within the time frame.
