Wow really nice take on the theme! Nice challenging gameplay without being too hard to grasp right away.
I don't know what are the birds and rats capable of but it must be quite diabolical when it requires a bomb to dispose of them.
Really really fun and I love the idea of defending both sides with really different methods. I think you could add a sound effect for when you get hit as it's kind of hard to tell at the minute. The sound and music tie it all together so well done!
This is so cool! And it fits the theme really well! Had really lots of fun. Only thing I would improve is to add a jump mechanic so you can dodge rats more easily. Every time I played I lost because of the rats HAHA.
Game fits theme really well, having two places to defend from was a neat idea. The rats are really hard to fight against, especially as once they hit the top of the ground you have no way of destroying them with the bombs, whereas the birds you can kite to the edge of the screen to shoot first.
I kept trying to hit space to drop bombs instead of having to move the mouse to the bottom, it might have been a bit less restrictive to separate the controls of the two, however it did create a good tension between the two sides of the defense.
Enjoyable gameplay for the most part.
Awesome how much you got done in three hours! The rats are just very hard to hit and really frustrating to fight against. There could be better balancing it. This is a fun concept with great visuals, sound and music. There is potential here
