Had a similar idea, glad to see someone used it. Great game, the loop is solid and satisfying, at first the idea of placing zones of time to be triggered was a bit off but once you get used to it you get rather strategic with it and it gets butt clenching when you manage to get saved by one of the mines you placed that was triggered by one of the enemies causing 3-4 of them to go down.

Agreed, I at first thought that maybe the sounds of playing would be enough but in retrospective a short 8 bit tune would solidify the game.

Really fun and well made within the time limit. I would only suggest that the heal only heals either the ship or the planet, that way you get some decision making on what you want to heal.

I don't know what are the birds and rats capable of but it must be quite diabolical when it requires a bomb to dispose of them.

The game is very fun, challenging for sure, trying to keep up with the constant stream of balls. But it is well made with the 2 hours and 25 minutes and has lots of features to make it replayable and aim for a higher score

While the game is okay, the game doesn't match that much to the theme, having just two inputs for a four dimensional gravity doesn't feel quite right.

Thats a fair point, I checked a bit and it would make sense that if you were to make a game in a short time you would use what you have made in the past to make it as fast as possible. Thanks for the response.

While I think the game is well made, the music is a bit too much and not adding credit to the original assets is a shame.

The music goes wild here for such a cutesy game.

(1 edit)

While understandable that you couldn't do everything in one go, adding a fail condition and making required items spawn a bit more often would make this game top notch. Otherwise good job! Also love how high you can stack them and the combination

With a bit of polish I can see this being a fun game, but at the moment the screen is too small making it hard to follow. Increasing the screen size, including some music, score system and timer would make this quite engaging.

Very cool idea, lacks in feedback and instructions. Would maybe be more interesting with a physics yoyo or change the yoyo into something else.

While it could be something interesting to play with a friend, which I unfortunately don't have :(. I don't see much point then just camping the ball and mashing the throw button from both sides.

While double the three hours the game idea is rather fun to play around with and the effects are well made.

Overall really good, well made with the amount of time, I'm just wondering how legal is it to reuse old code. Otherwise, art direction and gameplay are well made.

Simple and effective.

Really cool concept, probably the best I tried so far. Would be interesting to add more dynamic to it but with the time you did manage, great job!

Nice! Mine was 350 :)

Pretty much the idea, glad you liked it :). As for the wider frame it was a balance choice. If it was too wide it would take too long and feel tedious to move from one end to another and the difficulty increase probably would include raising the speed for the player. Shorter frame made the travel time shorter from one point to another without sacrificing the tension of getting hit, the blocks didn't have to drop fast and the player speed felt okay as it is with no need of adjusting. Thanks for the feedback tho, I might experiment adjusting the frame more to get the best feel.

Neat, the buttons feel a bit unnecessary, could just use regular inputs. But otherwise well polished.

Gravity mode doesn't really have too much sense, all mines are invisible you can't tell where they are located and having mines shown confuses me even more.

Not the cutest thing but definitely a fun one!

Very cool concept, the level design is really nice. However, I am not a big fan when you have to fight against the controls than the level itself, it is too slippery and hard to control for a game with this concept, sometimes simple movement with not acceleration or slipperiness works better.

It didn't have the best tutorial so I failed to understand how to fight at first not to mention the need for n and m for interacting wasn't really necessary, you could have just had n or m and not both. Otherwise it is a fun little game with an interesting concept, if you could choose who you can spawn as when you die and know the strengths and weaknesses of each character would make it even more interesting.

Fun little game, the combat is a bit lack luster since there is such a huge delay when you finish your combo and it doesn't guarantee that the enemy will be staggered meaning you will often trade hits and the dodge works only in large areas. Other then that some polish and it gets pretty fun.

One day, one long day

Thank you and will try too

Good, that's the point :D, but yeah I wish I did a bit more balancing on this one

Thanks, really proud of the theme on this one but the idea was getting harder to visualize as time went on

Glad you liked it, wanted to add my own sounds for once but didn't make it this time.

Glad you think so! Play testing was made one hour before the game I had to submit the game so I decided on more difficulty then balance, wish I had some time to iron it out.

Thanks! In the end I didn't have time  to polish out some of the parts of the game to make them more understanding so I had cut corners a lot

Fun gameplay, funny setting and an interesting concept makes this game feel like a good start for some couch gameplay!

It is a game so that is a start

I see you went with the rage quitting game wouldn't have ever thought about it, well done!

Yeah sure, I'll give it a go

Bro this is genious a whole new way to play minesweeper and I love it!

YEAH!

Agreed

UI was probably the least time I spent on the game so sorry for the buggines
