Very cool point and click game! You have actually done so much work in 3 hours, very impressive!

Developer(+1)

No matter how much I manage to achieve in Trijam time limit, there is always something more what I want to do... I think I overscoping a lot.

Thanks for your feedback!

The robot's a little unforgiving; it kills you for burning one slice toast :D
Really dig the pixel art you made! Only wish there wasn't repeating dialogue

Developer(+1)

He was programmed to cook perfect toastes, of course he is demands not less from human xD
Thanks for your feedback! Repetative dialogues really is issue.

Hi!
It's a pretty interesting game. I like how our choices change the game.
It is a bit slow though, you need to read the whole text again to toast one slice again and again.
Do we actually win after getting 999 toasts though? I am too lazy to try it out :P

Developer

I glad you are, cause I wasn't able to implement 999 toastes win condition and stay under 3h limit. I can only imagine somobodies frustration if they actually try to beat the game like that...
And you know how they say, true developer MUST be lazy =)

Funny little story. Quite creative.

I think the background of the textboxes should be darker, it's a bit hard to read at times.

Also maybe don't have a wrong decision make the player restart the whole game, especially if it seems like the right decision (pouring water on the extension cord for example). Or for having burnt a single toast.

But still, definitely an interesting idea.

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I thought about making a slider to tune text box bg opacity, but run out of a time.
Some of game endings requires full restart after failure to achieve, but yes, I should give an option to restart or just roll back decision.

Thanks for your feedback!

I really like the concept, but the dialogue is very long. With more time, a skip button solves this. Congratulations!

The visual is very cool!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! =)

Once you start getting repeated messages, you need some way to skip it. Usually a click on the message will complete it and show the buttons instantly instead of having to wait for the character to appear.

I unplugged him, I think it is the only way, unless there is something else with the fence and wind, so far I didn't find an use for those.

Developer

As always, if only I had 3h more to implement proper message skip and more story options. I was thinking about playing dialogues only once for repitative actions, such toastes + bonfire.
There is also bug when dialogue won't start after distracted time out. And I forgot to actually make it possible to win the game by cooking 999 toastes and many many more things (animated actions, sfx, e.t.c.) was abandoned due to time limit.

Thanks a lot for playing my game and giving your honest feedback, I appriciate that!
