Ranked from 13 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How much time was taken?
2:40 in build 1
For the 2nd build, one of us took 2:30 and the other 2 2:00 (we are a team of 3)
3:00 hours for the final build

Use of theme?
Classical games with a twist: We mashed together Pong and breakout and added a lot of extra balls to the game.

It is also the chain reaction because after a few extra balls have appeared they are going to multiply fast.

For the negative feedback loop, while a player has less score than the other their palette gets bigger while the other one gets smaller.

Use of diversifiers?
We made all the sounds with our mouths :)

The art style and sounds were great, good work

Gameplay, graphics, sounds were awesome ! Only thing that could be improved were some of the ball colors that were too light or too transparent (for example the green one). Such a great game !

I was playing with my mom and we both agreed that there were too many balls. I think a solution would be to have balls spawn on some bricks and not on others; the sheer amount eliminates the fun strategy thinking of the original Breakout and the competitiveness of the original Pong.

The visuals were definitely the best thing about this game. 7/10 (jam standards)

Nice style. Beautiful music. Very confused, too confused for my taste. But I stayed on the pc to play, because it has its charm.

Hi!
It's a very nice and unique take on the theme. I like the art style and the sound effects you have used.
It does get a little cluttered when there are too many balls, it's hard to see where to go.
Also the game hates the right paddle. I start the game and not move any paddles and everytime, left wins....this happened 5 times in a row.

Thats a bug that sadly went into the 9 hour build because balls always spawn moving right, woops. We will try to fix it after the jam ends. ^^

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I am in love with the art style of this! It looks fantastic and the background sound are great. The main contact sound is a bit clunky though.

I do like the idea and it definitely fits the theme, but I don't think there's much replayability in this as once you get to a certain point the game just plays itself which is fun to watch but doesn't really test player skill. I was also left with no balls on screen just waiting for the countdown to end so it might be worth ending the level early if all the balls are gone.

We thought that player skill was contributing, because id losed all the games so far X

It gets really difficult when there's more than 4 balls but I really enjoyed it! this was such a smart idea! good job!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!!

Awesome graphics, I think you went 'a bit' overboard with the whole chain reaction thing :D:D
