I like it, well done, but if I had to say one thing that needs changing, is the camera shake, made me get motion sickness. but maybe that's just because I am very susceptible to motion sickness
Yes, i think i have to update this game and get rid of camera shakes. Thanks
I wish the camera didn't shake so much and that I could have played it in a bigger window.
There seem to be a material issue that makes the trail purple, maybe just for me?
I'm curious why you put a warning that the sound is loud instead of just lowering the sound volume?
Pretty cool little game though, good work!
I like the game, i was looking forward to playing it when i saw your initial progress. Only real problems are that the difficulty is really high, it kept me from wanting to finish it. wish the resolution wasnt tiny though lmao.
Yeah I know my level design skills suck also I didn't know how to make the window bigger due to an issue. Thanks for review
Hey,
There's some super weird stuff going on with the resolution. With a 4K UHD monitor the game screen is like a stamp. And it's super hard to play by looking that stamp where you have even smaller sprites representing something of an game play elements. :D (this should be fixed ASAP)
What comes to the actual game play, I agree with the other comments about the difficulty of the game. I did not bother playing too long due to the constant resets to the beginning, maybe try to add some progress save points?
Anyway, there was no other bugs than the resolution issue with is a blocker for me. Otherwise like I said, game works as such pretty nice and definitely with some polish and effort could be turned into a proper game.
Good job and keep up the good work!
Hi, thanks for your post. Can you tell a bit more about the screen resolution problem? As for the difficulty of the game, I agree with you, but I wanted the game to fit the gamejam theme as much as possible. Maybe I'll make an easier version in the future.
Hey, you asked about the screen resolution problem. There's not much to tell about really. I don't know what is the build resolution, but it's really small for a 4K monitor. Maybe you could allow full screen instead of force windowed mode?
Here's your game on my monitor:
So as you can see, it's pretty much unplayable :D
Cheers!
Hm, i don't know where problem is. I made it should scale to make window always same size.
Sorry for this error i will fix it soon
Nice game!
Nice visuals, aesthetic and sound effects! Difficulty could have been turned down slighty, other than that, I like it.
Thanks! Yeah, as of playing this i think i should make difficulty easier a bit even there is only 9 levels. Again, thanks!
Some stuff is wrong with this game, like it launch itself in 300x200 for some reason, the fact that having a chromatic aberation and screenshakes all around the windows when you play. And the fact to have to start all over, considering how easy it is to die when you don't know the levels make it a terrible user experience.
However it does fit the theme perfectly and I must recognize that some solid work was made on this game, so GG ! Well done.
Game is lauching in 500x300 for the reason of canvas not scaling propetly. I had no fix for that. Anyway, Thanks for review!
This game has an interesting concept, making it unique. However it is very difficult, and combined with it's dull nature it creates a frustrating experience which quickly becomes boring.
Thx
