I have to admit, I left this one for last because the instructions gave me test anxiety but once I got going it was a lot of fun. Well done !
Loved it! Took me a bit to get used to the scoring but once I did I really dug it. Great work!
Thanks a bunch for playing Vim :D
Very cool game! I mean enough praise has already been said; adding more to the wall of well deserved praise would be kind of useless at this point, so the aside from the lack of tutorial, my big complaint is definitely that the game goes on for so long. Maybe I just got an overpowered item or a good set of cards, but there were times when the target score was like 300 and I got 28000 (that's when I finally decided to put the game down). Either making the game harder (or nerfing items that are op) would make it a lot more fun. Other than that, I genuinely had a lot of fun playing. Good stuff!
Thanks for the play and the kind feedback. The game could definitely use with some better balancing, great job with smashing the target score so much though :D
I saw this and instantly thought of 'dungeon clawler'. I love the art. I wish there was a tutorial or a more clear way to know if you are doing well. I had several cards in a rows and thought I was doing well. I would have a break in the suit and didn't make the connection of how it affected my score. I had 3 matches just before the end and finished the game with 0 points.
A tutorial to explain the first 5 or so turns or until you break your first streak would probably help.
Thanks for the feedback, a tutorial is top of the list for us!
While I do understand how the game works, I am bad at these kind of games. It’s still great tho, great concept with even greater execution. Just didn’t like that the game started with a wall of tutorial text.
Took a bit to understand what to do but good job lots of effort went into it!
This is great! It took a minute to wrap my head around it, but the tooltips really helped on figuring out what would gain score or not. The graphics are great, sound is great.. really good job on this one!
Thanks for the kind words! We'd love to get a step by step tutorial in after the jam to help with the starting experience, but I'm glad the tool tips are helping players find their feet in the game.
I've had to pry myself away from my ungodly multiplier to express just how much I love this. You've fused together so many elements which soar above the sum of their parts. This is the kind of experience where when you get into it, its incredibly difficult to put it down & just oozes with strategy and charm! Elegant, Tactical & Vicerally Satisfying! Love it! Instant buy if it was on Steam.
Thanks heaps for the praise, happy you enjoyed it :)
I'm low IQ gang so I couldn't comprehend much of what was going on , still the game is original which is already huge for itchio. About the tech and assets I thought it was well made, we could even say semi-pro.
Thanks heaps for the play and feedback, the game could definitely use a tutorial to explain the scoring system as you play. Appreciate the kind words :)
I have got to say this is probably the best jam game I have ever played. If you put this on steam, I would 100% buy it. The strategy is so good, and I love the upgrades you get at the end of each round. The only thing that I didn't like was the wall of text at the beginning, which made it kinda hard to understand what was going on. A proper tutorial would've been appreciated, but I understand that it's hard in the limited timeframe. Thank you for making this wonderful little game.
Thanks for the playing and the super nice feedback. You are absolutely right, a tutorial to ease the player in would benefit the game for sure. We will look into adding one in a future update :)
