It was a fun game, but I would have liked it more if you added music and sound effects, also the movement didn't feel that good, but other than that it was a fun game.
what a cute game! it was very fun! well done!
it'll be nice if you check our game too (:
I like the idea of having to go inside a different generated scenary each time, having to collect the items avoiding to fall, it add ups for an interesting exploring dungeons puzzle. It's a pretty nice game, it could have more elements such as enemies or more puzzling mechanics. Overall a pretty good game!
This was pretty fun actually. It reminds me of old adventure games I played as a kid. One suggestion would to make a condition check to make sure that gold>=itemPrice so we can't exploit unlimited items. Awesome game!
I like the game, and I definitely see the potential! However, I have just one suggestion. It would be to make the dungeons more diverse with trips or enemies. Also, I noticed that I was actually able to buy stuff in the town without having the gold to do so (it would put me at a negative balance, but I effectively had infinite money!) Other than that, I liked the game, and wish it were more fleshed out! If you have the time, I'd appreciate it if you also checked out my game!
I'm glad you liked it. Enemies, traps, more items, and level variations were planned but in the end had to be cut due to time. I don't really have any excuse for the infinite gold that was just me focusing too hard on learning how to properly set up a unity UI and totally spaced on that one if statement.
Pretty nice game, but a bit boring. Could use some enemies, or more types of traps. Other than that, good job! Would love to have my game rated by you as well!
Enemies, traps, more items, and more level variation were in the plan but had to be cut for scope reasons. I do agree in it's current iteration it is rather boring but I'm glad you still enjoyed it.
Great job on your submission! After playing around for a bit (and taking a few extra minutes because I totally didn't want to check the instructions) , I've gathered quite a bit. The game itself is fun and pretty clever. The tile based system with random cracks in the ground led a battle of rng. The biggest issue with this game is it's UI. The items you can buy dont really cost anything (you just go into negative cash and you can keep buying things). I think the quality of the UI could improve just a pinch. The game itself was really fun though. Good submission!
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it! A battle with rng where you have to balance getting treasure vs getting out quickly was what I was trying to shoot for so im glad it worked out. I guess for next time I need to spend more time trying to break my game because I was in such a rush I totally forgot to even add a check to make sure the player has enough gold to buy the item. This was actually my first attemp at making a game with UI in unity so I know there's a lot more there that I need to learn there but it was very interesting as a learning experience even if I didnt have time to get things scaling properly. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment!
