Took me a sec to get the hang of it, then I got into it. Nice timing on the coal spawning. I was definitely sweating. Those water droplets are relentless!
Really cool concept! If you could implement audio that may help bring a good feel to the game!
Pretty solid primary gameplay loop. Very smooth controls. I like the occasional reversal of roles, a la Pac-Man.
Note that I had no audio. If you didn't implement audio, consider doing it next time... a little bit of effort can go a long way toward enhancing immersion.
My main recommendation would be to gradually diversify the threats, and maybe even the rewards, over the course of the game. More types of enemies, different kinds of pickups, maybe environmental challenges or hazards...
This game is much more fun than it is presented as. I think if this game has some menu improvements and some juice to the gameplay, this game would be 10,10. Also, I really like the nitro because I can kill all the water without slowing down.
Nice little game, good to pass time. I think it could use a little juice and visual overhaul (particle effects and lighting would be great), also it's got minimal sound and no music as far as I could tell.
Loved the idea! Short and simple is definitely the way to go sometimes. It was definitely a challenge at times.
Great concept! I loved the powerup. The art and gameplay are sweet and simple. Could use some extra attention on the game menus and tutorial. Great jam game!
