I really like this game although I think it could be better with better controls like allowing players to also use the mouse. The current controls are a little frustrating to use but the art is amazing

The graphics were really cute. The game was a little confusing, tried to pick up stuff to serve or throw away and it didn't seem to work.  I re-read the directions and started to get it haha.  I ran into some issue on the cutting board though.  Placed cheese, hit it a few times and it was stuck.  Overall pretty cool game though!

Whatever critique I had was gone after I read about the left shift key.  Now I can just say - great job! This was super fun!

This was a fun little game! I like the music, it's very chill, which honestly helps me in a fast-paced environment like this. I appreciate that the gameplay overall was intuitive, and the notebook in the bottom right corner was a lifesaver. I also liked that you can prepare ingredients in advance and combine or serve them when you need them; otherwise, this would be more or less impossible.

A simple animation for the customers would have been nice. Also, some additional sound effects, such as chopping.

Please note that I met a couple of bugs. One was that I accidentally placed already-sliced cheese on the cutting board, and then couldn't clear the cutting board. The other was that, at the end of the first day, I clicked "Next Day" and I was kicked back to the main menu.

Thank you for playing and for the complements! :D You can pick up items you place on the cutting board by pressing Left Shift. If we had gotten the tutorial in, that would've been stated! So sorry! Also the 'Next Day' is supposed to send you to the Main Menu. We should have been more clear on our button naming. Thank you for playing!!

Love the artwork! The building art is especially cute.

Thank you! :)

I really liked this game, although there were a couple bugs.

1) Sometimes people would ask for a recipe you don't have the items for

2) Sometimes more than one person would go to the same place

Other than that, I had a lot of fun. Nice game!

Developer

Biggest issue was that this game needs a tutorial, we had just ran out of time and didn't prioritize it enough as we should've. You can delete shipments by pressing left shift, allowing it to choose another ingredient that you can use for those recipes.  The second one is actually a bug, and it is quite frustrating :D

Nice Overcooked like. One things you could improve is multi-tasking, cutting things while your chilly sauce is baking, while dishes are washed in a dishwasher, something else is reheating in the microwave, etc...

Overall, nice game.

Developer

Thank you! Overcooked was our inspiration. Could definitely add more things to do that require multi tasking. If you play Day 4 that's about as good as it gets with juggling multiple appliances.

Ratatouille and Overcooked with pixel art , I like how unique this game is you did an amazing job on this fam I truly like it! solid rating from me!

Thank you! We really appreciate the kind words! :) We hope to only get better from here

I really like Overcooked (even if it made me argue with my gf so many time lol) and this game give me the same vibes!

There is a couple of thing I may suggest. I was very confused on what to do at first. There's no tutorial, but that's not the problem. The game lacks some important UI, like a baloon on the customer you did not take the order or an icon that make you naturally guess that you have to press repeatedly for chopping. These are small things, but help a lot.

The pixel art you made is very cute. In my opinion you just overdo with outlines. Outline help to make things stand out, like player characters. But if evrything has an outline nothing stands out. Maybe this is more a matter a personal taste, but I like it more without it, for example the outside of the Hot Mama's is really on point!

On the design part I think you are on the right track! I really liked the concept and how you interpreted the theme!

Thank you graciously for your feedback. We definitely have a lot to improve on, and I really think you are right. The UI for customers just didn't make it in time, but I didn't think about the indicators for what to do with appliances like chopping on the cutting board. It would've really made it easier to understand and just have a better presentation overall.

Thank you as well for the pixel art tips. Our artist is very new, so it is very welcomed. I think he has done great so far, but I can see what you mean with the outlines. We will continue to work on improving our skills!

Interesting having the main character be a hamster or a mouse? Thoughts of Ratatouille came to mind.

Developer

He is a hamster! So a bit more... unique.
