Nice gameplay mechanics! It took me a little bit to figure out how charging works. I think physics needs some touches, I often get stuck in ice blocks.

- Nice use of the theme! I really liked the puzzling aspect. It may be beneficial to add some sort of short-ranged freezing/melting. This would hopefully make it easier to effect blocks on the ground.

Cool mechanics! Charging seemed a little finicky but once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun!
Come play my game when you get a chance :)
Neat idea! I accidentally froze myself while trying to build a path. :P
The hands were a little off position and the graphics were a little soso, I kept freezing myself in the water. It felt a little annoying that you had to keep recharging your hands, I was hoping for more elements than just 2 doing stuff. Really cool concept though.
Index, what I mean by off position is like the hands don't line up with my real hands. It's like the hands were like at the ends of my controller instead of lined up with my hands. I did eventually beat it because the concept was cool enough that I kept restarting it when I kept freezing myself in the water. I ended up freezing to the side one at a time to keep from accidentally. I just found myself thinking the mechanics would be a little smoother if you didnt have to recharge your hands. I still thought it was awesome. Good job.
Can you check out my team's game as well? We only have 4 ratings right now: https://symbioticparker.itch.io/a-wizards-wand
I loved this concept so much and thought it was really well done. I really appreciated the ramping up of the puzzles to get the hang of it and felt like good game design.
Wow! Our concepts are so similar, we should have teamed up! I like how you made puzzles using the different elements.
The mechanic of turning your hands into the different elements is a really good idea and I think explored further could make a really good full release. I really liked how you guys changed the transparency of the hands to show how charged an element was. The different elements interactions have a ton of potential. As some accessibility feedback, I think it would be nice if instead of needing to touch things to transfer your elemental power it would be much better to shoot a small laser of that element, I had an issue in the level where you first make an ice bridge where I kept falling into the water then freezing the block I was in, lol. All in all, great entry and would love to see you take this idea further!
Thank you, Trisol. Unfortunately both me and Jacques can't continue this project further, as we have other projects to be working on. I'm glad you liked our game. To address your accessibility feedback, that is a good suggestion about the laser and we would definitely have added that if we knew it was needed, and I'm sorry to hear you got stuck in the ice haha! It happened to me from time to time whilst testing but I wasn't entirely sure how to fix it.
Hello Macchi, we're glad you enjoyed it! Sorry for the lack of levels, it was both me and Jacques' first time participating in a game jam and we could have managed our time better. Your 5 star rating is very much appreciated, and I am downloading your submission right now! I have the Oculus Rift S so I'll let you whether I can play it with this hmd.

That was fun :D
It feels weirdly natural to stick my hands into things and transfer my element...
A thing I missed was to see the size if the zones to load the hands - thet mostly both loaded up with the same element - I had a hard time to have different states for the hands.
Thumbs up!
