Thank you, glad you liked it!

Dang, I've always wanted to make a game about programming, but have never been able to figure out how to make it intuitive and easy to pick up. You nailed it though, great job!

Little robot animations were great too!

This was a great programmer/puzzle game! The animations on the little round robots were super slick too! At first after solving the first area I walked all the way to the second area and I was like...where is the new console? Then I realized I had to go back and move the whole cage down to the next area. On the third area I gave up, looked complicated and im a shit programmer, plus I still have a lot of games left to play but I could tell a lot of thought and planning went into those puzzles! No bugs on my part, ran smoothly for me as well. LoL how you left the hexabody controller in the game.

Thank you for testing and giving such nice and detailed feedback, that really means a lot! Super happy that you liked it!

I was not able to play it as it lagged horribly. I'm not sure what would cause that because I have a fairly beefy computer. I won't be rating it because I would not be able to provide fair judgement.

Thank you still for trying tho! I know there are so many games out there so it's super appreciated. :)

I would be very interested in your hardware specs and VR headset if you don't mind sharing.

I can run the game fine on a GTX 1070, 16GB RAM and an i7-6700 CPU.

Yeah I dunno why it doesn't work for me. I am on PCVR, Valve Index, RTX 3090TI, i7-9700K, and 32 GB of RAM at 4000 Mhz.

I do love a programming game .. couldnt see (and maybe I missed it on the tutorial) where to put the disk afterwards.

Good concept though

DeveloperSubmitted(+1)

Thank you for trying and sorry about that! I wanted to make a visual explaining it instead of text, but you know.. time.

If you have time to test it again or for anyone else:

  • Program the disk at the console
  • Pull the disk out and bring it to the robots
  • On top of the robot is a slit to push the disk in
  • Push the red button near the puzzle to start/reset

The part of programming your own robot reminded me of the Playstore game "Grasshopper: Learn to Code" which helped my wife understanding what we do here as developer. :-D

Unfortunately it's lagging on my Valve Index and hands aren't rotated right. (But this isn't put into rating ;-))

Thank you for playing my game and sorry about the index issue - only had a quest for testing, but that is super useful to know!

And that is a cute comparison! I didn’t know that app. When I learned programming in school we had a program where you pseudo coded for a little robot placing red Lego bricks, but I don’t know the name of that either anymore.

Very neat concept and I loved the aesthetic! Nice job!

Thank you very much! Obviously we all only had a short amount of time to come up and work with an idea, but I think there is a lot of possibilities with programming your little P.A.L.’s .. maybe even outside of a grid as a proper companion :D

Hello and thank you for trying it out and giving feedback, it means a lot! :)

If you don’t mind, what exactly didn’t work out with the code?

Submitted

pressing enter didnt wrote the code to the disk
