Super sorry to hear that! We need a better tutorial! Which platform are you on??
It should be aim your  hand at a hook, it will turn yellow, then click and hold the trigger to shoot the whip, next do the whip motion and you'll pull yourself forward. If done quickly it should be like a real whip motion.

Definitely a cool idea !

There are some improvements to make but still was a decent gameplay.
I really like the whip idea felt really nice, absolutely have to try that aswell.

I like the idea of merging puzzle game with climbing system. This project can have a good potential to be a very interesting game!

It's a neat game with good level design, and I liked the inclusion of enemies you have to shoot. My main problem was the whip mechanic, as it didn't always register when I was pointing towards the target. Other than that, it was a fun game.

Really like the level design, and I can see where the climbing puzzle would be super fun! The character controller needs a little work, as jumping repeatedly is a sure way to fly to the top!  As other commenters have said, lots of potential here. Definitely worth taking further.

shhhh.... don't tell anyone about the secret dev jump button :)

We just dropped a release with better shoot and whip controls as well as character movement.

I really hope you get the chance to work more on this idea because this is good fun! It's a bit difficult to see if the chain is within range of the targets, but outside of that and some bugs it's a great jam!
